They keep saying "Fin" heck if I know..If that is than damn shark fin thing, it needs to go anyway.
 
Saw this rig on Wednesday when I found myself on I-81 near Wilkes-Barre, PA in a mother of a traffic jam. Heading up to Loudon. Driver looked about as miserable as the rest of us...

LOL...I live just north of Scranton! I'm off of the Clarks Summit (from south) or Waverly (from north) exit of 81. That area is a nightmare with road construction and accidents. In fact it's notoriously bad! You weren't far away from Pocono!

It was brutal. We moved about 6 miles in over an hour. I came off 80 and broke north. We were good till about the 155 then from there up to the 165 it was a parking lot. I'll be in clearer waters for Pocono in a few weeks! (Hopefully!) I wish I knew what a $$$t-show that road was or I would not have run up there.

lol I just drove up this route from NJ today. Glad to be home to say the least.
 
If I could have gotten McDowell's driver's attention I would have asked him if he thought he could get there in time for happy hour. I needed a happy hour after that trip. I wanted to meet some friends and that fell through so being in the area I thought I'd check out Pocono Downs Mohegan. Big mistake, financially and time-wise!

I can't be sure but the only Fin I see on the deck lid is that little bitty one on Truex's car. I couldn't find a photo of Larson's..but to me if that is it, it needs to go anyway.

I want to see Larson's cheated up fin.
Why it is there, I don't know. Who knows what Nascar was thinking. Maybe It has to do with keeping the car out of the air???
 
Ridiculous they have the driver who has nothing to do with the penalty sit in his car out on pit row like a errant school boy. In the same vein they should have a penalty box for the crew chief to sit in..maybe add a dunce cap

They just showed it and it there are two short clear ones. One going down the left rear roof pillar and one along the left side of the deck lid. Evidently one had a slight bit of up/down movement or adjustment in it.

Thanks. Not too visible to the naked eye. Oh well. It seems if it was adjustable, an official would be able to see something different. Maybe this is because they put all their faith in machines.
 
He's still fast and is currently 4th in practice after a long time sitting on pit road. Only a couple hundred's behind Kyle Busch who was out there on a cooler track and now it's sunny. Going to be really tough to pass from dead last on this track.
 
Jabberton was saying Jones missed 30 minutes of practice..not. I still think it is really stupid to have the driver sit in the car on pit road with his fire suit on when it is hot as hell. It would be more of a photo op if they came out of their trailer and the talking heads could mob them while they were doing their walk of shame.:D eh, on second thought probably better to sit in the car and burn up.

The 24 was in the top 3 in 10 lap average in each practice, wish he woulda qualified a bit better than 11 but he should be pretty good tomorrow, hasn't shown that kind of speed here before. Hopefully they get the track back close to what it was before the rain.
 
With the exception of cup drivers ruining it the xfiniry race was interesting today. Looking forward to seeing the race tomorrow. First time I've ever looked forward to a race at liudln.

More like 3:20 to 3:22 PM in reality. I think I will start watching around 4:45-5:00 PM as I should be able to see the entire race and get close to finishing up in real time.
 
Anyone happen to notice Larsons GF had an Ascot t-shirt on? That was a great dirt track in SoCal they closed nearly 30 years ago. Been to it several times growing up down there. Just kind of stunned to see someone in their 20's wearing a t-shirt for it.
