2018 Kansas - KC Masterpiece 400 - Pre-Race Thread

My God, how bad is it when the #48 sneak into the second round at the last second with a 21st and then don't even bother with another attempt because that's all they've got.


Those Fords are stout across the board, and Kyle is still the class of the Toyotas.

They tried flipping the switch this week but it shorted out.
 
Still waiting for all of the whining and bitching about Ford dominance. Wind tunnels, cheating, blah, blah, blah.....yet, crickets. No bias on this board. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaw.

Looking forward to it. Kevin Harvick is lights out. Very impressive. If Kyle Busch can get to within a second, we have a race. If not, bye bye Kevin. I love a blow out, and I love a Kyle win. Win/win tonight.
 
I don't know what the Fords have found, but other makes need to figure it out. And you are right, Kevin is racing lights out this year --- just like Martin did
last year. Chevy had better get it's act together --- right now, all they see are tail lights.

Honestly, I am not sure that all of the Fords have something. Kyle is faster consistently than the other Fords. Mr. Harvick has a rules package to his liking (think 2014), and I think Ford has gotten caught up. I am starting to wonder about the Chevys. I don't think that it would be possible for them to produce an absolute turd of a car. I just don't. So, is this about information sharing? Do the Chevy teams need to do something different? Lots of preseason BS about how the Camaro front end looked like the Camry, and how they would struggle until Charlotte--just like the Toyotas. Larry Mac pointed out, however, that the Toyotas had speed early last year--just didn't win. I should add that there were several reporters who didn't get that. I am starting to wonder if the Chevy problems are in the way they do business. Not sure.

Cause, it means you was a fan of the CAR they was in, not the DRIVER. Someone who's a fan of a DRIVER doesn't care what car they in, if they do they are a fan of the CAR. simple as that.
