I will be going through Phoenix Thursday evening on the way to Florida...damn I wish I had time to stop for the race.

Is the track bastardized yet or are they racing on the old configuration? I wish they’d go back to the configuration it was back when I was a kid when it had that dog leg coming out of turn 2 I think it was. Phoenix was and is one of my favorite tracks

Happy 33th Birthday to Cale Gale

Currently 20% chance of rain is predicted, that number will likely continue to increase the closer we get to Sunday.

I live in the Phoenix area and when it rains at this time of year its only a very light sprinkle, if it even dose rain at all. Sometimes when its expected to rain it doesn't at all.

It's still in its original configuration

Right, 20% is not even enough to get worried about , not here anyways.

What part of the valley are you in ?, I am on the west side in Surprise.

Phoenix - another Harvick track. I wonder how long it has been since a driver won 3 in a row?

You can only do so much, right? I mean, I'm currently working hard on increasing television ratings but I seem to be able to do little more than maintain my current numbers.
:D

Andy Hillenburg wishes you had purchased tickets.

He’s bankrupt. Don’t blame yourself.
Well considering when they ran the last truck race there I was out of a job, in my early 20's and starting up my own business as well as living many states away I was strapped for cash. But I would have made an honest effort to make it there if some of those factors were going my way. and Andy Hillenburg's bankruptcy wont keep me up at night, sorry it happened to him though.

Because Phoenix doesn't change its clocks for daylight saving time, local time for NASCAR events will be Mountain (standard) time Friday and Saturday and then Pacific (daylight) time Sunday.

I’m sure you would have.

After much angst about it, many didn’t and it is now a dead issue.
