Thanks for posting the ASR ratings. I don't track the non-points races but was going to do the ASR anyway but never got around to it. I was curious to see how they were rated.totally unscientific pole form the R-F thread. non points races

yeah I was curious also, couldn't stand it. I didn't throw out the high and low scoreThanks for posting the ASR ratings. I don't track the non-points races but was going to do the ASR anyway but never got around to it. I was curious to see how they were rated.
That's... nothing short of amazing. If you told me 3 months ago that the Coke 600 would score within a quarter of a point of Martinsville, and higher than both plate races so far, I'd have laughed at you
You mean the Open race. right? If you told me 3 months ago that the Coke 600 would score within a quarter of a point of Martinsville, and higher than both plate races so far, I'd have laughed at you
It got a 6.11. This year's race was dominated in similar fashion, but the racing behind the leader was much better this year. How did the 2016 Coke 600 fare?
Martinsville got a 7.45 this year, and Daytona and Talladega are lower than 7.2You mean the Open race. right?
The 600 was 7.2

that is funny compared to the rest of the world. Not surprised though.
not my world. For comparison and a just a wee bit larger sampling. Michigan did have the lowest people voting at a bit over 4,000. a lot of plateaphobia panic.Yeah, we already know you live in your own world.
It would have made it if not for the 3 and 5.Chicagoland just missed being the #1 Cup race of the year.

Why single out the low numbers? It would have made it if any of the ratings that weren't '10' had been half a point higher (including mine). It would have made it if not for the 3 and 5.
Because the same ones post the 1s 2s and 3s every week? Makes one think that racing isn't their cup of tea.Why single out the low numbers? It would have made it if any of the ratings that weren't '10' had been half a point higher (including mine).
Gone said the race was so bad that he's gone.Because the same ones post the 1s 2s and 3s every week? Makes one think that racing isn't their cup of tea.
Of course I did. We went on a Lake Michigan dinner cruise aboard the Odyssey and loved it.Did you dance with your wife in Chicago?
The 3 got tossed because I always drop the lowest and the highest, but that means I also dropped one of the 10's. The 5 did it in.It would have made it if not for the 3 and 5.

Yep.You think that’s bad? Daytona’s this week.

yep they usually line up on the rail, and use shocked, sh!t show, ridiculous, how can Nascar call this a race every year? in the racing thread. Pretty much the same ones every year..pretty funny actually. The rest of us enjoy the heck out of it.
amazing how close it is to Gluck's survey. The 93% is the Bristol race also.
it's the P word, gets them every time Squirrel !!Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem bashing a dull race. But plate race ratings get unfairly downgraded on here.
We have a new cellar dweller on the Cup side...
