Probably not popular with most of you, but this is what I am pulling for.
Which implies you, like I, hope to watch it after work tomorrow.
I should have saved last night's Indy race for this afternoon instead of watching it over breakfast.
Sorry, didn't mean to imply that .Actually. I would be going to the race!
It's going to be one of those days where the jet driers get about halfway finished and then the rain starts again.
PGA has three tied for the lead and three more one stroke back. That looks like a good alternative.
No one there for the race today will be around that late for a Monday race.
Crossing my fingers we get some racing today! Looks like just some light rain but we all know that even the lightest of showers will wash away the track.
Television drives this machine whether good, bad or indifferent.
Still waiting. Hate this game
Wished they were would just call it. We decided not to come up today, but will tomorrow if they race. Since we are not coming it will probably not rain from green to checker.
Hourly forecast so far is 40-50% rain all afternoon. Raining steady here on the Lake Michigan shoreline.
Gonna be 95 here today. BBQ in the near future.
Small window between 3 to 5 pm where it will be cloudy, but it will pick up around 6 pm.
I doubt I'll be able to watch this race, especially being a night shift guy if it happens at 5pm on Monday, I have to be to work at 6pm.
Yeah it may open up. No point in watching the forecast, just watch the radar
Bright and sunny here in Michigan!! Bout 5 hours from the track, though
Yep, the forecast pretty much changes by the minute depending on what the radar is doing.
got any sick days you can use? lol
Hell I might just call out.
I'm feeling uneasy already.
Which currently shows a long band running N-S, but it just might slide west of the track. Anyone remember how long it takes to dry this place?
1 hour 58 minutes and 48 seconds. (wins hands down the bonehead question at Michigan)
I’ll say it, I’m going to miss DW when he’s gone.
You're not alone.
Good to hear. A lot of people seem to be sour on him. But I like him.
DW will be missed.Would love to see Dale Jarrett leave NBC and take DW's Place in the booth he was great at espn and should be in the booth on NBC not wasted on the pre and postshows.
I think both DW and MW are awesome.
Their characters on FOX are cringeworthy and near unbearable.
Yeah it’s losing moisture as it moves north and the east wind is drying the air out. I’m almost to the track and feel very confident in it running completely
I can put up with it personally. I can see where they might can be annoying. But I’m normally let’s say, not sober during the races so it’s easy to deal with them.
We're racing today, I can feel it.
Drivers to their cars!!
Absolutely.. I know he says some dumb things but I like him.. always have.. I'll definitely feel the void when theres no boogity boogity boogity for the 500 next season.
Watch them try that on a Monday postponed race in the next couple years... it’ll be the prettiest day all Monday morning and afternoon and then late showers force them to miss the Monday running...
Obviously they want majority of people to race over to the track after work. It still works against a person who has traveled hours to get to the race. They’re making calls that benefit “a fan” that lives 30 minutes away... not a fan that drove 2+ hours.
Let me get with 2019... the calls don’t benefit the fan who “Uber’d” 2 or more hours...
hurry up, get that Vortex going.
Network cringes as Denny suggest maybe checkin on the golf lol.
I get up early for this and what do I get?.....More rain!!!
It does and it's too bad.
They're making the call that benefits TV. The fans in the stands have nothing to do with it.
