2019 Daytona -- Advent Health Speedweeks/Clash -- Pre-Race Thread

Its been 20 minutes now...6 and 4 still in the grass. I will have to buy 24 packs instead of 12 packs for races this year.
 
I'll be surprised if the cars get out there anymore....approaching 10 minutes to go in the session. Some might be able to get a few more laps in....but is it worth the risk?
 
Extended by 5 minutes.

Suarez just spun himself out. Must be the equipment.

My ears get murdered either way. Dw is an assclown, and burton is hopped up on every upper known to man, plus his voice is grating. Only thing that makes fox slightly better, Dw sort of blends into the background now that a Gordon is around.
 
I think it helps to have a sense of humor when it comes to DW, he has always been that way since he raced and he has won more championships than most racing out there. So I don't know who is the ass clown, but it ain't him. None of them on NBC crew have a sense of humor, but they do have plenty of lungs and high pitched voices. That usually isn't a good combination they look for in an announcer. I don't think they can prop up JR and use him in all situations. He does a lot better interviewing drivers on his show than in the both IMO. He isn't an ass clown because he isn't that good at it . :idunno:
