RACER understands the car remains at the team’s factory in Grove and is unlikely to leave for Barcelona before Tuesday night, meaning Wednesday afternoon is the earliest realistic window for any track running. With just eight days of testing available to teams before the opening race of the season in Australia, Williams is set to lose at least 25% of its testing time at this stage.

They should've sold to Daddy Stroll. Do what you have to do to survive...and Racing Point look to be in good shape.

Williams will be exclusively an engineering firm before long, IMO.

Yep besides that’s short good period with Massa and Bottas and that Maldonado win, they haven’t been a legit championship contender since Montoya, and even then the car wasn’t reliable. They will be out as a constructor sooner or later
 
Am I the only one who thinks having two white and two red tire compounds is confusing as hell?

Stroll...Mazepin...sounds like the new way of getting your kid into F1 is just becoming a billionaire and buying a whole team.

 
Chase Carey stated he expects the schedule to remain at 21 races.
Since Hanoi and Zandvoort will join in 2020, two of the four circuits currently not under contract for 2020 are going to be dropped from the schedule.
Currently not under contract are Silverstone, Hockenheim, Barcelona and Mexico.
As of right now, it looks like Barcelona and Mexico will be dropped.

Stroll is the Austin Dillon of Formula 1 but at least Stroll admits his ride is bought for him.
 




With as much as is excluded from this, I'm not even sure of the point.
 
I get why engines are excluded because it'd be a mess with the teams that supply engines and the customers who buy them. One of them spends a whole lot more than the other. That's not really a 'race team' expense but more of a general factory thing.

Half the field allegedly spends > $250M so they'll (in theory) be brought closer back but I still think it'll be very hard to police.

Eh can’t totally hate on Austin. He’s won twice and been fairly competitive in alright equipment. He proved his way in
