2019 NBA Playoffs

They aren't beating Toronto in Toronto with the championship on the line. That place will be nuts.

Reverse jinx? If you're posts are as good as mine, they will rip off 3 straight now.

Might be his Achilles this time.

Garbage Finals. Seems like one team has been either injured or just outmatched for at least five or six years now. Even 2016 sucked for six games.

Has to be an achillies, I know folks **** on Durant. Yet, no one deserves this. He's worked his ass off to get back quickly for this to happen. A damn shame IMO.

I hope he didn't tear it, hopefully its a sprain that way he can recover for next season.

I'm glad to see the Raptors' players got the crowd to stop cheering the injury and start cheering KD as he left. I've definitely been rooting for Toronto this time around, but respect to him for trying. I hope it isn't a more serious injury this time, because yikes, the drama from that and questioning whether he should have been out there...

I think the Warriors will hold on for the win tonight. Don't know if they have another in them in Game 6 or not.

It's kinda unbelievable how bad and underwhelming ESPN / ABC's studio portion of their broadcasts continue to be. TNT's NBA studio show may be the best such sports show of all time and it's a difficult comparison, but come on. It can't be that hard to put a team out there that can create some energy. This is much worse than even the awkward Bill Simmons days.

That said, Van Gundy is awesome, Breen is very good, and so is Doris Burke.

I find myself rooting for Golden State now...

Not a Durant fan by any stretch, but really hope he didn't Dan Marino his Achilles.

What a choke job from Toronto tonight. If they end up losing this series they may never get over this

I thought we were going to get a Game 7 after the Raptors threw the ball away with 10 seconds left. Instead the ending almost felt anticlimactic, but congrats to Toronto on a well played series.

Lol Woyas lose all 3 home games, I could not have been more wrong with the predictions after they took game 2. Good thing I haven't been betting sports!... geez. Feels like the end of a dynasty?

Cool for Kawhi. Well done Raptors!

Also, JFC this sucks. Durant has a ruptured Achilles and Thompson a torn ACL. This is ending for the Warriors in brutal fashion.

Yeah feel bad for those 2 guy's going down like that, never like to see that. Obviously a huge determining factor in the series. Would have been better to see both teams at full strength.

Hey Kawhi, I take back everything negative I said when you left the Spurs. Well done! Congrats to the entire Raptors organization on their first ever championship!

Oh wow, that is absolutely horrendous luck! :(

Regarding Durant, I get that it was the NBA Finals and they were trying to win a championship, but that's what happens when you try to play hurt, man. You start using other parts of your body to compensate for your injury, and you just end up injuring a different part of your body. They shouldn't have rushed him back.

The raptors and Blues have two of the biggest fake fan bases I’ve ever seen lol. Literally never seen anyone wearing blues gear and I’ve been to St. Louis, now that they won it’s the biggest championship in the cities history. David Freese died on Wednesday. Toronto and Canada as we all know is hockey or bust

St. Louis I get because they lost the Rams and have been reeling from that for a bit. I couldn't pull for the Raptors because I know how insufferable the Leafs fan base they overlap with is. Gotta have something to cling on to when your hockey history is from when there were six teams around. Also they've been douchey on reddit for years, I'm not a LeBron stan but watching him punk them in the playoffs every year was funny.

Jrue Holiday is still there, I wonder if they package him with the 4th round draft pick on draft day?

Great haul for the Pelicans, David Griffin's influence is already in place. Solid trio of young players for New Orleans, but for the Lakers... Its great, you have AD, but this move better work now. The Lakers have AD on a one year rental, they better make the playoffs and go far next year for AD to stay.

Interesting stuff.

I think it's a great deal for the Lakers since the additional 1st rounders were likely to be mid-round with LeBron on a revenge tour. Holding onto Kuzma is HUGE imo.

Exciting times for them and the Pelicans beginning the Zion era with that much ammo.

I'm annoyed about the trade because AD has stated for a year he wants to be a laker. Giving away the farm for a guy who's going to sign anyways has always irked me.

I've sat and watch these kids grow over the last couple years.. Very bittersweet. BI is going to blow up and the rest of the league will suddenly correctly estimate his value. Lonzo will finally be treated his age and will be analyzed as such.... just like D'Lo.

The silver lining is that this saga is over. Laker fans have been thru some bull**** the last year over this trade.

Between the two teams, not gonna lie, I was down for the Warriors. Congrats to the underdogs, though. This reminds me a lot of the Cubs winning the World Series in 2017. Incredible stuff.

Now, I will say this, even though I just got done telling you all that I preferred the Warriors over the Raptors, I gotta say, on an individual player basis... man, I gotta show Kawhi some love. I was watching a video detailing his upbringing and why he maintains the quietly determined, if maybe a little awkward persona, and it makes me happy that him and fellow Raptor Jeremy Lin got to realize their dreams after all.

I don't know if this Clippers experiment will work, but I'm just glad Leonard didn't end up on the Lakers. He's an eccentric sort of guy, and I think after two titles he wants to make his own way and leave his own mark rather than melding into Lakers canon.

**** the Clippers. They just picked up both players who honeydicked the Lakers. This rivalry is gonna be crazy.

LETS GO LAKESHOW

I was hoping Kawhi would stay with the Raptors, but I’m glad he didn’t go to the Lakers. Nothing personal against the Lakers, just didn’t wanna see another completely loaded team that we know will win the championship before the season even starts. LeBron, the Brow, and Kawhi on the same team would have done that.

Also, Magic Johnson is an idiot. Kawhi demanded no leaks and the only one with loose lips was Magic. Leaked details about the meeting within the hour. 5 days later, Kawhi is a Clip.
