2019 Xfinity Series Thread

Mid-Ohio entry list. Can Cendric make it two in a row?

Will Rodgers has had a lot of road course success in K&N Pro, impressed Harvick at Sonoma a couple of years ago.

Chris Dyson will be in a DGM car. The ringer is alive and well in Xfinity.

That whole iK9/Earnhardt thing has been bizarre ever since that XCI car he was driving withdrew at Daytona.

I’m putting my money on JGR poaching the sponsor and dumping Jeffery. Which would suck.

Jeffrey got screwed big time.

On the other hand, the road course ringer is not dead. 7 ringers in this race with Hawksworth now in the 18 and Chris Dyson in the 90.
Still no Andy Lally, Katherine Legge or Alon Day, unfortunately.
Lally referred Dyson to DGM. He would've needed an already-funded ride like the Gibbs seat.

These cars drive like dump trucks compared to what most of the wringers drive. Will Rogers should do ok coming from the ARCA and K&N side, he came in 2nd at the Glenn and he won at Sonoma in 2018

Will Rodgers could get a top 10 in that 86 given it's a top 15-20 car in the series with Brandon Brown.

tough start for the ringers, 13th and 14th wrestling the Xfinity cars and Will Rodgers caught on fire a little bit.

Would be funny if Clements found a way to win another one given he's had decent speed this weekend, then Brandon Jones has to fight his way back into the top 12 lol.

42 cars
Three Cup drivers are entered: Busch, Logano and Jones.
Cassill is back in the #4.
Shane Lee and the #28 are back after skipping the road courses.
Joe Graf Jr. is entered in the #10 (was originally announced to drive the #21, guess they put him in the #10 cause it has more owner points.)

Will be interesting to see what kind of speed that 81 has. Erik is one of the best at Bristol, won here in 2016 and 17 against cuppers. Probably running him to see where this car measures up

IMO they should focus on getting Grala at this point. Graf is nowhere near ready yet. Grala should be in the 21 or 10 more regularly, its a shame considering how well he did with Fury last year in the 61.
Grala might be better off in the truck series, IMO. 3 14th-place-finishes are his best results in his 4 races with RCR.
Road America is his last scheuled race this year.

Euro series driver hoping for a little rain. Yeah me too

Loris Hezemans to make NXS debut at Road America
After impressing in his first NWES season in 2018 and winning the last two races of the 2019 regular season, Loris Hezemans will become the fifth NWES driver to graduate to a national stage in the United States. The Dutchman will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Road America this weekend, driving the #99 Koolbox Chevrolet Camaro for BJ McLeod Motorsports.
