It's that time again. A1 tomorrow night!

Full schedule including TV coverage: https://www.supercrosslive.com/tickets

Any predictions? Will Cooper Webb pick up where he left off as a dominant indoor force? Does Tomac finally capitalize on his speed advantage and win an SX title? Who else will be in the mix up front between Roczen, Anderson, Osborne, Stewart, Cianciarulo, etc.?

Marvin Musquin is out for the season because of knee surgery, and Webb will have no KTM teammate, as the team is not hiring a replacement rider. Hopefully there won't be another rash of injuries this year.

An interesting NBC broadcast note is that Leigh Diffey will be announcing the first three weeks. This seems like an attempt by NBC to elevate SX and tie it in to the rest of their motorsports coverage, but it's a bit odd to have a higher profile play-by-play announcer for only three races. I'm not sure what this means for Ralph Sheheen and if he is still the regular announcer alongside Ricky Carmichael.

You know today I was bored af and thought about is any racing back yet? Something told me yes and I checked the schedule and lo and behold, Supercross starts tonight. What a gift.

I hope it’s competitive this year. I want to see different winners most every week. Webb didn’t even sweat last year.

I don’t expect anything from Ciancirulo after that career choking event last year. Confidence killer.

So wait a minute, Adam Ciancirulo got promoted up? Why?

meanwhile the reigning 250 champ started up where he left off.

He'll probably show why at different points this season. He has the speed and will probably be inconsistent and make mistakes. But not as many as Savatgy, who was unfortunately a comedy of errors. I bet AC92...oops...AC9 wins at least one main this year.

Because hes hauling ass on that 450. Killed it in all the offseason events.

Wow, Forkner with a major blunder that he compounded with an inexplicable bad decision to cut the track. I'm surprised and impressed with Cooper's increased speed.

I like that this series lets them race (wipe each other out) and battle but at the same time they seem lax on handing out penalties when they need to.

If they don’t penalize the dude over track cutting, them you’re not doing your job.

It's almost like this Cianciarulo thing was destined. The broadcast was sure focused on him from the start. And here's Tomac struggling back in eighth with no real speed.

I think this is the deepest 450 class to start a season for many years.

Ciancirulo is so choke prone is not even funny. His mistakes are mostly cringe inducing.

At least the championship is not on the line...

Ferrandis: 2nd on the 250

AC: 2nd on the 450

I think the boy will be ok

I'm NOT a Webb fan. In fact I'd love to see Cianciarulo and any number of other riders beat him this year. But you have to give him his due. He's riding sick and tentative and churns out a third in a stacked field. Everyone else's "bad nights" are much worse. That's why he'll be tough to beat in the points again.

Anderson looked fast and aggressive after a bad start. Roczen looked like he tired out again late in the race. I'm very confused by Tomac's performance, but that's Eli.

AD looked really impressive yesterday having fast lap during the day and then getting a second place finish. If not for that one bobble that gave the lead back to bam bam I think AD might have won his first 450 race. It looked like he might have been getting a little fatigued after he lost the lead to bam bam but overall he did a pretty good job and showed he is going to be a contender in the 450 class. I was really hoping for a 1-2 finish from team Kawasaki.

Roczen finally crushed one.

Congrats, bro. Hope this is the year.

It's awesome to see Roczen close one out and win again. Definitely the class of the field tonight.

So happy to see this dude win again. Definitely not going to any SX races this year. That's the only way to ensure he stays healthy.

Don't sleep on BamBam ya'll.

He's a local, so he's the only reason I watch. Good dude, good family.

That's fine. Many view his behavior differently, but he has matured since getting the KTM seat. His SX season last year was remarkable because of how much smarter he rode than everyone else. Almost never the fastest, but always finding a way to finish up front. Tonight his lack of speed finally caught up with him. He's qualified badly before and still finished well in the main. Usually great starts help him immensely. Tonight he qualified P15 and finished P12. I've heard that he's still sick. Hopefully he is well soon so he can mix it up with the guys at the front.

Damn! AC has been fast qualifier at the first two races and won a heat race.

So happy for Roczen. You have to be a bad ass warrior to do what those guys do, he came back from a horrendous injury. So well deserved.

That accident happened right in front of me and it was a pretty scary crash. I thought maybe it might have been a career ending hit for the Rock.

If the heat is any indication, Tomac and Webb are back this week.

Man Reed is working his ass off to make it every week. He made another one from the LCQ.

LET'S GO ROCZEN!

Holy **** that 250 race was nuts.

Jett Lawrance completely melted down at the end. Ferrandis under investigation though.

I missed most of that because of the Chili Bowl and will have to watch the replay. What I saw was crazy. Bummed for Lawrence, he gave it everything he had, I sure hope he's OK.

I saw the replay of Ferrandis' pass on Forkner, which was fine and just an aggressive block pass. Haven't seen the Craig run-in that is under review.

Now I've seen it. Possibly not as dirty or intentional as it looks, but reckless and unnecessary to pull that so early in the race. I will not be upset if Ferrandis gets docked for it and loses the win.

No penalty. Eh. Whatever. I don't think he did it on purpose, but he deserves the boos.

Now the American fans have another Frenchman to boo everywhere. It's unfortunate, because generally I've enjoyed watching him ride.

OK, it's A2 again. Two years after the big Roczen crash. He's won again. He's back. Can this finally, finally be the last time they have to show the replays again?

Whatever the difference between the A2 track and the A1 track layout, this is a lot racier tonight

AMA put Ferrandis on a 12-month probation for the incident with Craig. I don't know how you make a decision that it wasn't a violation deserving of any penalty in the race in which it occurred, but still a "Don't do it again". It will have the effect of making him think about aggressive passes going forward.

Ya'll dont know how pumped I am to see Tomac and Roczen hauling ass. I so hope they can keep their bodies intact this season.

Jett Lawrence has so much promise. Bummed on the collarbone injury.

DF obviously didn't mean to take CC out but damn was it ugly. Looked to me like he trusted a rut a bit too much that early on and skated right up into him.

Damn Roczen looks very solid. Clean sweep.

That was the Roczen I remember before he started breaking arms.
Would be a good story to see him win the championship.

I like this years collection of front runners. Never know who is going to get hot.
