2020 Xfinity Series News

If I lived more than 5-7 hours drive from a track without having to figure and plan on a hotel room either one or two nights of it that would be fine. If it was a two day drive to an event it wouldn't be a big deal +/- an hour or two. When you live within a day's drive of a track that hour is a huge deal... for us it's the difference in spending $400-$500 for a day at the track versus $700+/- with hotels added in.

It's been pointed out on here probably a thousand times or more but you cant just change start times at the track willy nilly.

They better give the event staff some extra casino chips for their efforts during what will be a loooong weekend....

Media is told, "the race may start 1 hour early if there's in-climate weather in the area", so be prepared.
The media isn't 'told' anything. When they write the checks, they do the telling. If NASCAR starts the race an hour early, then whatever other programming was scheduled is going to override it, because its sponsors payed to be shown to basketball viewers (or whatever else). Instead of being able to see the entire race on Monday, we're going to miss an hour on Sunday.

Plus starting early only makes it more likely the race will get to the halfway point and stop, instead of going the full distance. If I'm attending, I'd rather see the full race a day late than half a race on schedule.

Just me.

Alfredo in the hold my watch 21 instead of Snider. Herbst gets the year old Yota.

Snider picks up a ride, not a great one, but I bet some of it comes from the publicity of the Gragson/Snider dust up at Vegas and the media is going to give him and that team some air play.

Snider perhaps trying to piece a full schedule together for playoff hopes?

Myatt Snider: It’s ‘game on’ if conflict with Noah Gragson continues

I've always thought Gragson is kind of a douche, and he's a real idiot if he expects anyone to believe last week's wreck was "both" of their fault, but this made me laugh....

Much has been made about the TV replays of Gragson and Snider meeting after the race to talk about the incident. Gragson tried to give Snider a fist bump only to have Snider walk away without fist bumping him.

“I told (Myatt) let’s play rock, paper, scissors,” Gragson quipped in part on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. “I went with rock and he still hasn’t gotten back to me if he wants scissors, paper or rock.”

Anyone else more excited for that than Jr?

eh, I don't see Stewart making a habit out of it but you never know. They have been developing a pretty big time midget race on the property, and I have wondered what Penske was going to do with it. I could see Stewart racing there.

I was at the midget race last year there when Larson did a spin and win on the last corner.

Good to see two cup drivers in the Xfinity race. That means I can get out and enjoy the weather on Saturday instead of watching the race.

Kyle in P-1, Labbe in 5th, they have a lot of short tracks in the Pintys series. Allgaier 17 thousands of a sec slower then Kyle but with better ten and 15 lap times
