They’re running another high line session that seemingly worked at Texas. Only problem is it looks like there’s a decent chance of rain on race day that could wash it all away.

Trying to decide if I want to make the 3 hour drive north for this, or go 4 hours south to Batesville for the Topless 100.

I like both, but I think the Indycar race at Gateway would be fun to go to. Plus it's Gateway, it has a chance to get pretty wild.

It rained earlier but they got the Lights race in afterwards it seems. Hope it didn’t wash too much rubber away.

Idk if this is a popular opinion but I think IndyCar should consider bringing back the rear-wheel covers for oval races.
Yeah idk either but I’ve been thinking about that for a while. Especially at Indy.

Too much economy run talk for my liking too.

Really sketchy, huge save Pato. Tough luck because he had been making progress.

The racetrack.
I’d say the driver quality and depth is mostly as good as it’s been in a long time. Some wankers at the back for sure but what are you gonna do, some pay drivers will always be around.

Yeah and it’s disappointing seeing Rahal, Johnson, Carpenter just struggle along with Andretti Racing. I get a little tired of Penske & Ganassi.

Although Graham is running ok today .

When Hornish had competition, he evaporated really quickly.
A lot of old stats need to be viewed within a certain context. Both sides of the split developed some stats that look goofy in retrospect.

Look at Tony Stewart’s championship IRL season and you’d probably value it less than an SRX title.

Hopefully Graham and Rossi both have better seasons next year.

I think Jimmie should maybe stick to ovals next year. Maybe CGR find a driver with some money to split the 48 with the road courses.

Have to say the same for the likes of Bourdais in Champ Car for that run if we say that as well.

Biggest team with the most funding out there and it showed.

For sure. Those late stage Champ Car fields were eeeesh.
