Cause it's gonna be another 8 months til we get that kind of weather again.
Ah! I'm reminded when I was 9 and 10 and we lived in the US state of Michigan. Michigan is two peninsulas separated by a strait, otherwise unconnected, each with it's own economy and lifestyle. It's said the northern peninsula has only three seasons - July, August, and Winter.

We had a drought all spring and into early Summer. Then we had floods from nonstop rain. And now we're back in drought conditions. It's insanely dry.

A year ago Hurricaine Helene hit. I was fortunate three trees from the neighborhood fell in my yard and one only missed my house by about 10 feet.
Another missed my shop and equipment by just a couple of feet.
Many others suffered so much more.

One thing I can honestly say is, the forecast was perfect for Helene. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration even issued an extremely rare public warning, and the warnings by NHC were the most dire since Katrina.
