2025 British Grand Prix

Guy has been driving since 2010, 238 starts without a podium was more than twice the previous record.
Also his team used to be kinda crap.
He’s been at it since I was in middle school. I always thought it was one of the biggest injustices of the F1 world that he never got an opportunity outside of the midfield/backmarker teams. One reason behind it apparently had to do with weight regulations and Hülkenberg being fairly tall for an F1 driver. That said, he’s more capable than much of the equipment he’s been consigned to throughout his career likely suggests on paper.

@Charlie Spencer for a NASCAR comparison, it’s about like that time Kurt Busch brought a Phoenix Racing Chevy home in 3rd place at Sonoma, or Martin Truex Jr. when he finally started enjoying a real breakthrough nearly a decade into his Cup career with a single-car team.

While no one has heard from him or seen him in the last 10 years, Adrian Sutil finally has his old F1 record back.
Will Yuki stay in the sport long enough to break it?

Nico meanwhile got his hands on a new record that will probably stay for many decades.
