And there’s the mistake by Kimi. Wow.
Seeing as how McLaren uses a Merc engine, Kimi may have just let him go. A podium might be different, but Kimi could probably car less about another 4th.seems like it might take a big mistake from Antonelli for Norris to get by him
They must be determined to give this thing away.McLaren strategy is pretty bad.
On the replay it looked like an actual organic mistake. There was no team order.Seeing as how McLaren uses a Merc engine, Kimi may have just let him go. A podium might be different, but Kimi could probably car less about another 4th.
Stunning drive from Sainz.
Just saw the replay from Kiim's car and he did indeed run off.Seeing as how McLaren uses a Merc engine, Kimi may have just let him go.
Am much bad luck as Carlos has had, this was almost as good as a win. I suspect they will be very, very good next year. Carlos' tub is now two years old, so a new one next year will be a big help.Williams landing on the podium a couple of times has been an awesome sight to see. This season they’ve finally started to realize the fruits of their labor with the new ownership and Vowles in leadership.
Maybe it's nostalgia or maybe I'm right but considering 27 wins (back when they only raced 10 or 12 times), 3 championships, surviving the absolutely most deadly time in the sport, plus dragging the sport out of that deadly period, and defeating dyslexia while doing it, I'm going to have to go with Jackie Stewart.I think the GOAT arguments are flawed based on all of the considerations, it would be hard to get a consensus.
He should definitely be in the conversation. But I do believe Verstappen has obviously (joined a few elites and) made a good case.
I absolutely agree on Lauda, I can't imagine or articulate just how badass he had to be to come back like he did and so soon.Maybe it's nostalgia or maybe I'm right but considering 27 wins (back when they only raced 10 or 12 times), 3 championships, surviving the absolutely most deadly time in the sport, plus dragging the sport out of that deadly period, and defeating dyslexia while doing it, I'm going to have to go with Jackie Stewart.
After that, no one had more guts or bravery than Lauda.
He should definitely be in the conversation.
