Doesn't look like Heim is going to have an easy go of it this race

I'd put my mother in the wall for a half-million dollars. ;)
I'm surprised you don't have a what about question. I'll ask it. Heim isn't full time and he is in the Triple Truck Challenge. Does that mean that other drivers who are part time like Cup drivers get the single race prize money if they win the race?

I'm glad you asked that.

While he isn’t full time, Heim is registered for Truck points this season and is eligible for the challenge and other series promotions. (You've posted the standings and commented on his leading the series.) Drivers running for points in other series aren't eligible.

Next question? Yes, you in the back?

But Heim is ineligible for the season Championship? He's eligible for half a million bucks for a contest but not the Championship even if he has the points. Make it make sense. The fudged up points system strikes again. This every race thing nonsense goes back to the 70's when David Pearson driving for the Wood brothers wasn't racing every race but was leading or he was right up close to the points lead.

Yeah, that's why I commented ealier in the week that a start-and-park would have keep him in the running.

Don't ask me, I didn't write the rules.
I really wasn't asking, just pointing out how screwed up the points system still is. Heim designated he was a Truck racer, eligible for a contest but his points are not eligible for the Championship. Nascar is rule happy but they don't have the common sense to remove rules that are outdated from the 70's that weren't good to start with and they doubled down on a stupid rule that makes little sense. Heim's points do count for owner points but not a drivers championship. Just making a comment, no need to reply. It's jacked up IMO.

Carson Ferguson the dirt late model racer who came in 2nd in the Ram truck tryouts was scheduled for Martinsville later in the season, gets thrown to the wolves at Bristol, no laps, no simulator, no nothing. :D
