The C8 sounds much better in this. That IMSA onboard video isn't that great:

Off-throttle especially, it sounds great. Its just not as thunderous as the C7, but it still sounds great.

It still has a very distinct sound as well.

I remember the days when the NASCAR drivers were more common. It looks like one current and one former NASCAR driver this year (I'll be cheering for them).

NASCAR is such a more grueling season to get through these days. Hardly any offseason the last two decades. A lot of sponsor and manufacturer conflicts too I imagine. Kyle got in a Lexus because TRD had been asking him to for a few years. Some IndyCar guys can’t even make it work. Josef Newgarden and Will Power were trying to line stuff up and they fell through for those reasons. For Josef it was as simple as Penske’s Shell deal was a conflict with Corvette’s Mobil 1 tie.
