But on the bright side...Biffle is still running good!!!
His car looks like a broken box of crayons! Every color!

junior passed below yellow line ...no black flag wtf??????

Just call it JRCAR. That was BS, but I actually think it was a better call. Let them race and that was a great race. I just do not want to hear anymore crap about Jeff being below the yellow line. The should throw the rule out because all it does is cause controversy.

Seems that he was already passing and Matt came down what else do to? I know let him take him out--but then what would people have to whine about then! I think they should throw it out too, let them race

i watched the replay several times....gotta luv tivo.. :D .....Jr and Kenseth were side by side when he went below because kenseth was comin back down hard and then swerved back in and jr swereved to avoid hittin kenseth and dropped below....but he was already side by side and passin him.....i think if kenseth was still ahead when they came close to each other side by side it woulda been a different call...

Well, at least my guy finished 2nd. Great Job!! :) :bounce:

Now, on to Martinsville for some REAL RACING!!

great to see terry up there in 5th...finally got a good finish after running good for a change.... :D

But Kenseth was not the only car he passed. He passed Jimmie Johnson below the yellow line on that pass. JJ may have even been ahead of Kenseth right then. You may say he didn't pass Kenseth, but he passed JJ and that is the rule. Cannot improve your position on the track while below the yellow line. ^_^

The point is you can look back at previous RP races and see examples of the driver being black flagged. Lil'E should have been black flagged. The announcers got it right tho. He wasn't because it wouldn't have been a popular decision. What a load of crap! Why run the race if we are going to decide the outcome by popularity?

Great finishes for Craven, T. Labonte,W. Burton, R. Gordon, and Kyle Petty today!! :D That was a great finish, especially when Jiimie Johnson got what he deserved! :p

If it was somebody besides jr, like lets say kenseth or johnson would the call have been the same or been handled the same way???

Thats my question

JUST A POPULARITY CONTEST!! KEEP THE JR FANS IN THE CROWD HAPPY! NOT REAL RACING ANYMORE!!

You know the answer to that question. They have always called the yellow line. Even against Stewart which was questionable as he made contact and was moved below the line last year.

Then why wasn't the call made today? Jr was clear below the yellow line, advanced his position, and no contact was made. But no call. If they can't call it for everyone, I say get rid of it.

They say he was forced down there. Well so was sterling and Stewart, and it was even more clear in those instances that they had little options. Jr had options, but chose to go below the line.

because he knew they would not call him on it

he is what brings all those people in there

they have long stopped being a racing sport and are now a mere form of entertainment for idiots

I understand you may not like the sport, but dont come in here telling us about it! I am pretty sure that everyone else here likes Nascar!

i liked the sport

but it is now a joke....the race today proved it to the people that aren't dumb enough to not notice

He won at a track that he always runs good at...can he not win at a track that he and his teammates run well at?

Hungout you act as if jr has won the championship or won several races, this is not a big deal.

Dei has the best RP track cars, thats just it.

When jr wins at a couple small tracks or one road course then I might wonder, but this is nothing.

He had the best car, and when he got out front at the end he was flooring it.

on this one ...yes..i do believe they would have.....and i believe this call was right....as I too believe the calls on sterling, stewart and k. wallce were wrong....

Ironically, the debate would have raged just as vocally had Nascar have done the right thing:penalized Jr.for going below the line. This HAS been addressed this year---even to the point of being 'forced' below the line.No excuse:Nascar was wrong to not penalize Jr.And who he is played the largest part in that equation.

Then again, the more things change the more they stay the same. How many of Sr's wins were controversial?Really, from a non-emotional standpoint?A lot...and most folks on here know that.Jr. really is carrying on the family tradition.

:salute:

Elliott Sadler, who was right behind Earnhardt, said, "I was the one pushing (Earnhardt) and they ran him down. He had to do that or cause a big wreck, so it was a smart move. He's just like his dad driving that car.

elliot was ok with it... :p

does anyone on the board have a tv tuner?? anyone take a snapshot of the pass

I found this picture....if it helps any....
