Boo NASCAR, Boo. Yeah, screw the thousands of fans that wouldn't have been at the track on time or all of us fans at home that would have missed it with it starting early.Yeah. That 3 hour time gap between the end of the truck race & now woulda been prime time to race given the OBVIOUS incoming weather. But NASCAR.

Yeah, you can't move a race up three hours.Yeah. That 3 hour time gap between the end of the truck race & now woulda been prime time to race given the OBVIOUS incoming weather. But NASCAR.
What a middle finger to the fans. So their reasoning for not moving up qualifying was that it wouldn't be fair to the fans because the ticket is for qualifying and the race, so instead they wait until the rain is clearly gonna hit and cancel qualifying 5 minutes in. What a joke
If NASCAR was forward thinking enough & was caught up to the 21st century they could announce changes with more than enough time for the fans to know, imo. Text alerts, email alerts, automated phone calling, use the CMS app, etc...Boo NASCAR, Boo. Are you sure? Because he says prime time to race not qualify...He's talking about canceling the qualifying not the race. Could've had qualifying at 4 and race when rain stops. Not rocket science
Text and email alerts will not decrease travel time to the racetrack. If NASCAR was forward thinking enough & was caught up to the 21st century they could announce changes with more than enough time for the fans to know, imo. This exact weather has been predicted since the start of the week. NASCAR has never been proactive.
Alerts sent out in an early enough time frame allows fans to accommodate & get to the track on time.Text and email alerts will not decrease travel time to the racetrack.
Weather forecast are wrong most all of the time. Look at the numerous threads we've had this season about the pending doom. 3 day wash outs and the like.If NASCAR was forward thinking enough & was caught up to the 21st century they could announce changes with more than enough time for the fans to know, imo. Text alerts, email alerts, automated phone calling, use the CMS app, etc...
