Michael Self will be doing the full season with Sinclair sponsorship for Venturini.

Kligerman?? Weird.

I wonder if he's racing the day before the Clash

Are ARCA cars still hand-me-downs Monster Energy Cars, or are they their own thing now?

Nice qual for Munter. Sure would be cool see her have a good finish to end her racing career with.

Wow Menards expands to a Multi year agreement for ARCA-Menards. It will now be called the ARCA Menards series.

Interesting all it takes is changing a few decals and they can run either or both series. They all join later this year for a run off series for the champion

I think that starts next year

Round 3 is this afternoon (2pm I believe) at the high banks of Salem! It’s looking a bit rainy here, good chance the start may be delayed , but I think they will get the show in. Live coverage on MAV TV today.

I guess nobody here watched it.
Points leader Christian Eckes was sick after practice and qualifying on Saturday and couldn’t start the race on Sunday. Harrison Burton filled in for him.
Carson Hocevar led the from the start but Michael Self took the lead pretty quickly and lapped up til about 5th place before the caution came out around lap 85 lap. They had a restart that lasted for a few laps until the rain came around lap 97. They ran under yellow until lap 101 and it was called official around 15 or 20 min later. It’s too bad the whole race couldn’t happen, and the field was a little weak (19 cars) but there was some good racing throughout the top 10.

Michael self only ever lost the lead while pitting around lap 85, but regained it right away on the restart

the last ARCA tweet is from Jan 2. o_O March 2nd for Motorsport.com

ARCA basically has no social media presence. They have not updated their Facebook page either. I thought after NASCAR bought them they would use social media, the NASCARHometrack Twitter has great updates for K&N and the Modifieds. They said it would be business as usual for ARCA until 2020, I guess that even includes social media. I would expect them to have social media updates next year, whether it’s on an ARCA account or the NASCAR Home tracks accounts.

NASCAR doesn't run ARCA yet. You'll see some changes when they do take over.

Yeah, I thought so, though I would have thought NASCAR may have made them starting using social media since NASCAR already uses it so much with their other regional series!
I figure there will be some changes, not including the combination races with K&N. Some of those lower quality teams like #48 Brad Smith, the #06... etc.... I can't see those being in a NASCAR sanctioned event. I dont know anything, just a guess but i assume they will do something to force those extremely slow teams out.

I think you have to qualify somehow to get into the combo series big dance next year, That should cull out many of the backmarkers I would guess.
