    Credit to the drivers then. No power steering and such amenities today, just goes to show these guys and gals driving are really good at what they do.

    Power steering is a non-issue because steering box ratios.

    The caution clock morphed into stages. Just hope that they won't decide their 'games' need four quarters rather than three periods.

    IIRC, the caution clock was set at 20 minutes.
    I actually like the stages as an interesting tactical element, but a 20-minute caution clock eliminates all green-flag pit stops.

    What I mean is that the caution clock disappeared into the bin of discarded experiments the year stages were born. I agree that the present stage configuration is superior to a clock, though I'd prefer they weren't there at all.

    You would think with the "aero tight" fiasco they would all be driving straight in to the wall. ;)
