Atlanta RACE thread

His reasoning made sense of the decision to try the high line. It, however, made no logical sense as to why he went back to it after getting his lunch ate.

Agreed. I was listening in waiting for spotter to say "That's not working in 1 and 2 stay low, he's coming". It never happened.

He went high because Keselowski had smoked him on the high side earlier in the day. The grip wasn't there when he went there later.

Did he not say, "I ran the bottom a lot?"

I was making fun of him for deciding to run the top at the last minute. Literally the last minutes of the race.

Pretty much "we ran 2nd to harvick all day & it sucked that we werent in position when he slipped up"
Ah I did see that, I thought he meant that he had a bad restart on the last one there.

Yeah but that wasn't "his response" to the question of going high.

I'm defo not saying that wasn't a major choke.

Now onto Fox telling us NASCAR is Going West the next 3 weeks, did you hear?

This thread turned into a post race scrum. Is that SOP ?

I can understand after 230 laps of green flag racing.:swords:

The pre race crap is exhausting.

Football be like "broadcast starts at 1pm!" and kickoff is 1:15pm

Nascar be like "broadcast starts at 1:30pm" green flag at 2:45pm
And there's absolutely no need for it. Not that I watch any of it but they should honestly come on air 15 mins before it goes green.

For those who missed it, Kyle Larson said he was trying to take away Brad's preferred line.
Yep, I heard it, and that is what he did. Unfortunately for Kyle, Brad changed his line and went low. That's racing...you have to make split second decisions and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.:)

You could make an argument that she was below average since the fields used to be larger...
If she was below average then where does that put JJ because he was behind her...and not in a good way.:)

I can't be the only who thinks if NASCAR screwed Harvick he'd be going berserk.

JJ was way way below his average. Obviously

Lol JJ is the best mile and a half driver of all time. That poster was obviously joking, but the absurdity is still funny XD

On another note, I missed this one, work. Was it a good race? Don't have time to rewatch it tonight
