Atlanta RACE thread

How would that work in terms of if a team had a sponsor for instance many years Snap On sponsored RCR so wouldn’t the team just get guns from them or be able to purchase at a discounted rate?
It was about expensive modifications teams were making to their guns.

Snap On make lots of products.

it CAN even out. There isn't a lock on that.

The point is that it isn't a static thing. It's a gamble to get off sequence, but a calculated one at Atlanta where long green runs are the norm. If you pit on lap 150, you'll be faster on laps 151-160 and then slower after. If you pit on lap 155, you were slower from 150-155, but will be that much faster thereafter than the early pitters.

It is complicated, but can't be summed up the way he was.

Welp, there's a caution. That is the risk, obviously.

Danica had the most pick-em picks last week and Johnson has the most pick-em picks this week. Looks like picking the most popular picked driver is a curse thus far this season.

Jimmie’s winless streak has gone by fast, can’t believe it’s already been 24 races

That's why we're amateurs

I'm telling you watching the radar is nearly as fun as watching the race!! There's been cells dancing all around the track! There was one about about 6-7 minutes ago that just passed outside of turn 1-2! It had to be raining within 0.5 to 1 mile of the track!

But then I go ahead and pick the Di Burrito, coming in at a solid 31st. I was hoping the NASCAR Reddit Icon could finish in the 20-25 range today. Oh well, onto Vegas.
