I'm telling you watching the radar is nearly as fun as watching the race!! There's been cells dancing all around the track! There was one about about 6-7 minutes ago that just passed outside of turn 1-2! It had to be raining within 0.5 to 1 mile of the track!

Yes Nascar is really saving the teams money with the standard pit guns.
If what team owner Jimmy Means said last fall the guns will cost the teams $900 per race which is $32400 a year. Which is money being spent on something the teams just rent.
Jimmy's opinion on the rule change is it didn't make any sense because only a few teams were spending big money on guns. He said the real separation between Xfinity teams is cup teams using cup pit crews.
Plus Nascar got rid of a crew man to save teams money and then charge the teams for pit guns. Only the money hungry France family would do that to the teams.
