At first glance that seems to be a very worthy response.Statement from Currey:

When is NASCAR going to finally let go of their ridiculous policy of testing for marijuana? It’s so past tense at this point to even worry about it.

Away from the track has no bearing on what occurs on the track.I have to disagree. Truck drivers, pilots, surgeons, etc.. have to be held to a higher standard. I don't care if a football player wants to smoke weed but a racecar driver? That sounds like a bad idea.

Is this also the reason everyone wants to ink every inch of their body? I just don't get it. God made them perfect then they themselves make their body look like trash. When is America going to lose its obsession with getting intoxicated all of the time and act like responsible adults? Clear thinking is such a dam rare precious commodity that we should be opposed to anything that threatens it.
I agree and I personally am opposed to even drinking a beer (note: I don't crusade I am just clarifying my personal choice). I have a family member that has struggled all of his life with various types substance abuse. The majority of my high school friends from the late 1970s have suffered and some have even died as a result, one of them was while DUI. Two of them were gifted athletes with incredible potential. I could write pages about the self-inflicted damages I have seen. When is America going to lose its obsession with getting intoxicated all of the time and act like responsible adults? This is that backmarker that screwed up MTJ in some race this year, hate to see that this rivalry will never come to fruition
When it's safe to drive high at 200 mph? When the sponsors don't object to their spokesmen using it? Their series, their rules. No one is obligated to race in NASCAR.When is NASCAR going to finally let go of their ridiculous policy of testing for marijuana? It’s so past tense at this point to even worry about it.
Documentation, please. Most surgeons are hardcore junkies fwiw

Thank you.https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamasurgery/article-abstract/1107187
That's a start but not the article I recall reading years ago, not to mention I'm not including personal experience (I'm in the medical field).
It's a generic program name. He's recovering from an inability to compare the ingredients in his supplements with what's on the No-No list.Road to Recovery....Just what exactly is he recovering from?

The inability to read ?
Since when does NASCAR enforce laws? All they can do is enforce rules. Pot is no different than alcohol. The effects leave the body within a short period of time.Maybe because pot impairs people and it is against federal law ?
Are you a participant? Do you have anything at stake? If not, why do you care?Since when does NASCAR enforce laws? All they can do is enforce rules. Pot is no different than alcohol. The effects leave the body within a short period of time.

There is currently no reliable way to measure how much at this point. Suffice it to say, I don’t see any reason why a professional race car driver would use any drugs or alcohol within 12 hours of driving. The point is that pot has a very short period where skills would be affected, so off track use should not be anyone’s business. If you have alcohol in your system, you are under the influence in some way. I believe that NASCAR is zero tolerance for drugs, any amount would be no bueno. Allowing a certain amount of pot would be difficult to figure out ........ at what point is there too much ?
