It"s over they just called it.
My ESPN NEWS is labeled ESNHD.
Yeah I started watching in 95. Nothing like good Ole days of going straight from Sunday Morning Count down to "gentlemen start your engines." non of that pre-race crap.
I believe Kernan and Jerry Punch were the pit reporters.Lol I meant "you saw.."
I started watching about when you did. Good stuff back then. Ned, Bob, Benny. I liked Kernan too.
a drunk monkey could have driven the 54 car to victory. When they showed kyle's in car it was clear to me he was a long way from even pushing the car. his hands were steadier than mine in a street car. That tells me the car was so much better than the others it wasn't a contest. I think kyle just paced himself to not make it look horrible.
I agree they are getting a problem with the NW series. When I see KB do that I have to be honest I turn it off.
As much as dislike all the Cup guys dominating this series most of the time, the car count would of been even less if they weren't in it. Only 39 cars started the race, take out the 10 or 12 Cup guys and that leaves less that 30 cars.Yep that is a disgrace. Time for Nascar to either admit that the NNS isn't a development series or kick the cup guys out. I really have no interest watching cup guys dominate anymore. Even Harvick in NNS is boring to me.
FOX didn't take over until '01 so you had to have at least 2 years of the old ESPN days.
I saw that too his hands were not even moving on the wheel, steadiest in car shot I've ever seen. What gets me is why is that car so much better most of the time, even than all the other Cups funded teams?a drunk monkey could have driven the 54 car to victory. It's mostly JGRs cars IMO or kybu would have won in his own stuff.Kyle knows how to set a car up, but JGR also has some well kept secrets in that front end.

YEP.He sure would have done a whole lot better, and Kurt did get that teams only win.
It is not only the car, but Kyle knows how to keep up the momentum on the less powered N'wide car, they get it handling right so it corners without using hardly any brake, so he gets good mileage and good tire wear. Lets face it, he is the driver to beat most of the time in Nationwide. His driving style doesn't work as well in Cup, Johnson wins because he can run on the ragged edge lap after lap. But Johnson can't drive a N'wide car worth a damn. go figure.I saw that too his hands were not even moving on the wheel, steadiest in car shot I've ever seen. Might just be a Penske parade then though. If only kyBu's people still built the 54. Then it would be a legitimate race again.
I am happy the rain shorten the Kyle Buschwide series race, to bad he was in the lead, and its still raining here , lets hope this storm cell clears out over night
Seems pretty mellow here now, but I agree, its headed east. I think it'll be gone by tomorrow.I'm in SoCal and after today/last night, we have a lot more headed your way.

Hell, it quit here, sunned up and then DUMPED sideways 10 minutes later. Crazy weather.Hopefully dispersing before Avondale, AZ. Weird weather today though!! I swear we got all 4 seasons in San Diego.
Reading through this thread you'd think Kyle is single handedly responsible for ruining the NW series. It's funny considering the 4 other Cup drivers that finished behind him.
Is it that Kyle is running Cup equipment and the other Cup guys are running cars they built in their backyard?
Penske, RCR, Jr. Motorsports, etc. do not build backyard cars.Reading through this thread you'd think Kyle is single handedly responsible for ruining the NW series. It's funny considering the 4 other Cup drivers that finished behind him.

He was twice as fast as the closest cup guy. It's possible.Reading through this thread you'd think Kyle is single handedly responsible for ruining the NW series. It's funny considering the 4 other Cup drivers that finished behind him.
