Yes, this isn't even a question
Kyle either knew what he was doing or his incompetence came out. He’s too talented and too experienced to “oops” his entire RF fender. There was no "barely" or "slightly" involved, that move was never on. The fact that it looked as egregious as it did is why there's any debate whatsoever over intent or severe brain fade.
That pinhead in the #18. That was a mistake I'd expect from a rookie, not a 2 time Cup champion
So was it intent or brain fade?
I guess I’d have a different reaction if it was my guy in the fence but it wasn’t.
I would decide that it wasn’t intentional, though, regardless of the number on the side of the car.
Shut up Hamlin
Hamlin's ass was grass. There was no way he was going to win the race and here he is mouthing off and defending KDB who made his win possible. Keep you mouth shut Hamlin. And B.S. that was a lie about when he wiped out Chase at Martinsville. He never said he dumped Chase which was exactly what Hamlin did. He had all kinds of B.S. excuses.I would bet a Thousand Dollars that if Chase doesnt retaliate.... " they will still respect him." Thats probably a lie, more people will run over Chase. Gosh Hamlin is a goof, Chase will make things right, he will wait for the right exact time like how Hamlin got his in Phoenix. I for one will be hoping for a Bristol race, Busch and Elliott 1-2.... you can figure out what will happen next.
Yah Hamlin wouldnt be my first choice to gauge the Moral Compass of NASCARHamlin's ass was grass. Danica would've said Chase came down on herI disagree with that. I think most any NASCAR driver would have owned up to that...except maybe Danica.
Chase Elliot...what happened at the end was just dessert...
Through out the race he was pinching other drivers both high and low. Not going to illustrate all of them, but one primarily stuck out...well maybe two.
When Chase attempted to pass Boyer in the second stage, Chase pinched Boyer almost to the wall. Kyle was behind them he had to check up and bounced off the wall, slightly. Boyer recovered and did a cross over move going under Chase....Chase came down on Boyer taking away his attack line into corner one. Announcer feebly mentioned "side drafting"which was BS...he was taking away Boyer's line. That was the first time.
Then, after the second caution in the last stage, Chase did the same thing to Boyer...pinched him up against the wall. Again....Kyle was behind both of them, this time Kyle immediately dove to the inside. Chase immediately went down on Kyle....again, the announcer made the comment about "side drafting"...that was BS again, it was definitely to pinch Kyle and take his angle away from the corner.
Now...I am definitely not a Kyle fan, so keep that in perspective, but neither am I a Chase fan either...just say'n what I saw.
yeah it's nonsense especially when you look at what was on the line, a ticket to the chase for winning the race. If anybody should have been busted it would be KDB. I'm just glad they let them race in that respect. Race control sucks in the other series, let them race it out is a much better way of doing it.Wrecking someone and doing that, two totally different things.

Maybe for 2015, but he indisputably earned 2019, I may dislike him, but there was no asterisk for that one. I'll give respect when it is duethat is a very loose interpretation of "2 time Cup champion"! i think there is an asterisk missing.
He initially told Chase that he was being pushed. Which was a lie the moment anyone looked at a replay. No honor.Hamlin's tongue should have jumped out of his mouth and ran away from that gem. It was CONSIDERABLY after the wreck that Denny took ANY blame for it.
The occupant of the 9 car for lack of control
LmfaoDid the 9 occupant fail to maintain control after an incident.? Yes. The car was then wrecked due its occupiers inability to recover from a normal racing happenstance.
Chase . The name says it all. Chasing his father's fame. Kyle has everyone else chasing him. Big difference..

Slamming and a lane and a half away......OKSomeone slamming into your left rear quarter panel from a lane and a half away is not a normal racing happenstance and will cause a wreck 98% of the time.
Slamming and a lane and a half away......OK
Minor damage on Kyle's car from a "slam". If the seat filler of the 9 vehicle was able to recover from a racing bump, he might have finished the race..

Again, just a racing incident. Kyle missed 12 races and still did what the #9 seat filler couldn't. Win a Championship. If it wasn't for the Elliott name, he'd be another forgettable back marker start and park hack.OK wiseguy, go back and look at the crash that broke Kyle's feet and tell me why the world's greatest driver didn't save THAT one? The slide that put Kyle into the wall was but a fraction of what Chase had to deal with and he had about twice as much track to work with before he hit something too. In fact, after bouncing off the Jones Boy, Kyle pretty much spun himself out, not to mention he caused the wreck in the first place.......
should have saved it.. Oh wait he caused his own wreck also,Again, just a racing incident. Kyle missed 12 races and still did what the #9 seat filler couldn't. Win a Championship. If it wasn't for the Elliott name, he'd be another forgettable back marker start and park hack.
Enjoy tonight's race. ..should have saved it.. Oh wait he caused his own wreck also,
