Bonehead of the week: Kansas

Any racer would be pissed if they got moved like that on the last lap. And any racer would've moved someone like that on the last lap.

Hamlin did nothing wrong. In that exact moment, Kyle Larson was literally in his way. He had two options, move Larson or lift and give the win away.
Again, and maybe this time you’ll understand me. The guy always preaches about respect respect respect, blah blah blah, but then does this? Like that’s my issue with it. If he wants people to race with respect, maybe he should also. He’s a hypocrite. Plan and simple. Go ahead and keep defending him.

Hamlin's the wrong guy preaching the right message.

But he did nothing wrong on Sunday.

Since you like to throw out speculation (saying it’s only because he drives a Chevy and is a HMS Driver that it was a problem….despite me blaming Kyle at COTA, and not Denny) then maybe I should say that’s the only reason you’re fine with it.

Noah

And to everyone whining because the fight was broke up, you think Noah's team would have let it go? Or they would have kept NASCAR officials away so Noah could "get a punch in".

Stupid to go to another guys car and think you can touch him without his team pulling you off.

Do you know how important momentum is in these cars? If Hamlin lifted for Larson, it would've taken him a full lap or more to make that ground back up.

Lifting in that moment means handing the win to Kyle Larson.
you very well could be right.

brings up something else for me to bitch about.... the lack of horsepower lol.

i'll concede i'm probably wrong.

How many times have I said that Hamlin's the wrong guy delivering the right message about respect? Haven't I even said Hamlin would be pissed if someone did this to him? Haven't I, along with most of the forum, criticized Hamlin in the past and present?

In this instance, Hamlin did nothing wrong and, IMO, most of this forum is bent out of shape about it because it was a Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.

If Ross had made the same move on Larson that a**hole Hambone did to Larson, would you be saying the same thing?

I mean maybe you have, but I said a lot of things you ignore also, so I’m giving you back what you do me.

The thing is, when replying to ME, you shouldn’t say that, or at least say this doesn’t include you (me but I’m talking as you there) because it comes off as you saying that’s why I am, when I’ve proven over the years here, I’m pretty impartial have I not? I mean hell I’m one of the only Chase fans here who will admit when he was at fault (Joey at Bristol, the big one I forget which track but I think Dega, Phoenix last year to name a few) so when debating with me, if you bring up something that has no baring on me, without actually acknowledging that you don’t necessarily mean me, I’m going to think that you mean me.

You realize I'm a Ross Chastain fan, right?

Kevin Harvick, Josh Berry and Ross Chastain are the drivers I root for on Sundays.

If one person throws a punch, both deserve to throw one. NASCAR should’ve stepped in the second Noah grabbed Ross.

If Ross did the same thing, would you be calling him an a**hole, or blaming Larson? Since I have a situation where you seem to think Denny is in the wrong(which I agree with) I figured it’s a good time to ask.

You are correct, but, look at all the

I Absolutely would. Chicken **** moves are chicken**** moves, period.

I called Joey Logano a dick for moving William Byron at Darlington last year, until I saw the replay where Byron did the same thing to Logano several laps prior.

Well I be damned, I do to. I think this is the first time we have agreed on just about anything.:lol2:

Well, hopefully that's true, because I seen similar things he has done, you just saw them differently. But I won't call you a liar because well it wasn't Ross that did it so I can't say for sure how you would've acted.

Where is the rolling eye emoji?

Noah should have thrown his punch when he grabbed Ross. I believe the prevailing opinion is if you put hands on someone, it's on. Noah started it, Ross got his lick in and there were people there to break it up.

I say I'm not going to call you a liar, and you tell me to kiss your ass. lol. I hate to see what you say if I called you a liar..

How can anything be a lie when all this BS is viewer subjective and video proven. Like I said if Ross did a chicken **** move like Hambone did sunday, I would call him out.

Everyone's judgment is always skewed by who their guy is, and that's totally normal. Larson has been given the benefit of the doubt and the old "it's just a racing incident" excuse numerous times in the last year alone. How was yesterday any different? His own hitting the wall is what directly led to the contact with Hamlin.

I'm just saying if NASCAR is gonna step in, then step in when it starts. Don't let one guy get a lick in and then stop it. I don't see any issue with that. I agree Noah should have just thrown his punch before grabbing him, but I mean if they don't want things to get physical then stop it the second it does, which was Noah grabbing him.

and again I didn't call you a liar or said you lied did I? Unless you're upset at the part where I said we saw other times differently which falls under your subjective thing you mentioned. You see it one way, I see it another. Neither is lying, we just got different opinions. Until what happened yesterday happens(I won't count COTA last year, since AJ got into him first and I even said back then Ross was in the right) with Ross, him wrecking someone for the win, then I just have to believe you.

Fair enough, later.

Not everyone's. Correct me if I'm wrong, and this is on;y because sometimes I get you and @Dr_B_UNC confused lol, sorry about that. But I believe it was you who I had a small back and forth with(nothing out of hand, we was both respectful) at Phoenix last year when the stuff happened with Chase and Ross. You blamed Ross, and I said it was on Chase. So, I've shown that even when my driver ***** up, I am like yeah, he ****** up.

Maybe they have been times where people can say I did defend Chase(Bristol with Harvick, but that can revert back to me showing that I am okay with given back what you're given, as they been plenty of times when I was fine with a driver doing something to a driver who had did something to him.)

I don't recall placing blame but I do remember saying it was probably a little early in the race to be pressing the issue the way Ross was, but it's the championship race so I get not giving, even if it's just a few inches. I think I faulted Chase some for either not covering harder knowing who was behind him or for choosing the lane he did to begin with to avoid the potential of that altogether.

At least I was right it was you I had the discussion with haha. Just misremember some of it, so I do apologize.

I agree that when you approach a driver at his car or hauler to argue about what just happened you can't really blame anyone but yourself if it blows up in your face.

After listening to this weeks edition of radioactive, this is what happens when you don’t listen to your crew chief… and grab a grown man trying to act tough… and have a bowl cut

Because Ross’ handles stepped in… that’s not Noah’s fault at all lol. What’s he supposed to do start hitting everyone in his way
Throw the first punch. Grabbing someone gets you what he got

They have been times where he did wreck someone and you find away to blame who he wrecked. Like last week, “he lifted” it’s the damn turn, you don’t go full speed in a turn. He’s dumped people. It’s fine being a fan but damn. At least hold your driver accountable like I do. Like Phoenix for the Championship. I said it was Chase who wrecked himself, and not Ross. I held my driver accountable, not once have I seen you blame Ross. If you have, let me know.

It doesn’t matter my answer because you’ll have an excuse like always.

Read the race thread I called Denny a hack. I said he was a bitch for doing what he would complain about. Nice try tho.
Ross didnt wreck the 42, the 42 got up to high and walled it. People get crowded all the time. Noah should be mad at himself

I havent had a Favorite driver since my hero almost lost his life in Turn 2 of Pocono in 88. After all the hubub and gnashing of teeth over the "aggressiveness" towards the the Watermelon Farmer from Florida I think I may be moved to form an alliance with the 1. I'll be buying a hat and a t-shirt in the coming days. Ross, you've got a new fan buddy. ;)

Bobby was the man and much closer to being "The" GOAT than most people will ever realize.
I think he is one of Nascars top 5 ever.
I still remember where I was and what I was doing when the 1988 crash occurred.

Life is senseless at times, it was the begining of Bobby enduring more trials and suffering than any man should ever have to face. As one of the greats the closing chapter just should have been much kinder and respectful.

Note: As a boy Richard Petty was my favorite, then I started rooting with for Waltrip. It seemed like Bobby Allison was the biggest rival against my favorites in many epic battles.
It was a real eye opener for me when the 1988 injury occurred. Bobby was like a machine, always there and great.

He came to GPS in the early 80s and ran a 200 lapper. Something broke on the rear end and they had to weld it back. He probabaly was 50 laps down by the time he returned to the track. Most drivers in that situation would just called it a night.

But I think Bobby knew a lot of people came to see him race at their local track. Once again it was Bobby against my favorite Butch Lindley who was stinking up the show big time. When Bobby rejoined the race they put on a hellacious battle for many laps as if it were for the lead until Lindley had a mechanical failure himself.

Bobby was a pure racer, he could build it and raw dog it on the track. IMO there will never be anyone to match his all around skills. When people talk about the greats and fail to mention Bobby they have already destroyed their credibility.

I just never thought it would end like it did.

He really was Greg. People have no idea how much he did for racing, from the cars he built from the ground up that went toe to toe with the big factory cars and beat them to the innovations he brought to the sport like bringing in the front steer car. He was a racing savant. The stuff he went through in his personal life with the loss of his sons and his best friend and protege Neil Bonnet truly just want fair. He was a master on the track but even better off of it, he would treat you like a long lost friend when you would stop him for an autograph or just want to shake his hand. He's my hero and in my opinion the best to ever strap in. Thanks for the memories you just shared.
