Ask the 4Thanks for posting this, now I understand why they went from Championship team in a single Dodge to Ford also ran team lately. Is it my imagination or does Ford just hate success.

All the apples in 1 basket?
Penske isn't challenging and RFR hasn't for years.
Heck even Blaney was running better in the WB #21.
The model is there for the Ford teams to be successful, they just have to put it together like the 4 did. He doesnt have anything Ford doesnt give the others. All the apples in 1 basket?

I never said the race wasn't sold out I said there were empty seats which were clearly visible. It is possible the race sold out and seats went unused or the track got creative.
Don't worry, I'm sure you will find empty seats to count - and wallow in - on some future race weekend. When you do, all will be well with your world once again. One couldn't help but notice the number of seats that went unsold so I hope they made the section with less capacity.

@kyle18fan Care to elaborate?
No I meant Blaney ran better in the #21 than he is in the #12.Menard?
What? Jeez fair weather fan much? One bad race and that's it eh? Lol You know Joey led the standings going into Phoenix right? All the apples in 1 basket?

You should have ...... it might be our last though, after seeing what this ISM outfit is doing.
I thought ISM just had the naming rights? Isn't Phoenix still an ISC track? Or did you mean ISC in the first place?Ticket prices going thru the roof .. pit passes doubling in price ..... no cool events around the track ( freestyle and such)
PIR has always been a very affordable and super fun place .......... that can be ruined very easily by the wrong management.

What are standings?
They did away with that point system

Incidentally, anybody know what ISM is or does? Googling the letters turns up the Institute for Supply Management. I know who they are, and I doubt they have the budget or interest in track naming rights.
EDIT: Never mind; @gnomesayin had already posted about them over in the 'Random' discussion.
Mr Stevens is making a habit of "long pitting". I dont get it.The 18 crew. Waited 4 laps too long to make the final stop then missed the jack post on the left side. Expensive.
You can get a ticket from $42-$72 for the Cup race in November. Thats cheap for a Major professional sport, hell even the 112.00 ticket isnt bad.Naming rights or not, there are BIG changes coming. Weekend pit pass will go from 60 dollars to over 120 dollars .. ticket prices are going up considerably as well. What used to be an affordable experience will soon turn into one that's not so affordable.
I'm asking if those changes are due to ISM's involvement, or would they have been made by track owner ISC regardless of the sale of naming rights? You initially blamed ISM; why do you pin responsibility on them?Naming rights or not, there are BIG changes coming. Apparently he didn't learn that lesson at Atlanta after all.Mr Stevens is making a habit of "long pitting". I dont get it.

Kids under 17.....20 bucks for the standsI will let others decide what is fair and isn’t fair for pit passes and tickets. However if prices are being doubled they were either stupid cheap to begin with or stupid expensive now. At a time when crowds are getting smaller each year doubling the price for some items is not very smart. A father that wants to take his son into the pits and the race is going to have to dig deep
Kids under 17 free for Trucks and Xfinity. More wrecks and short enough to not bore them.Kids under 17.....20 bucks for the stands

Can you afford race tickets? You're complaining about the cost of an extra, an add-on.I am not involved in the business .. ISM is the name of the track that just doubled the price of a weekend pitt pass. I cannot afford 120 dollars

Poor choice of words on my part. I'm hard-wired to find solutions. I'm just pointing out that cutting out the extras can make the races themselves more affordable. The tickets will be quite a bit more for decent seats . from what I have seen. Will I be able to afford 3 days at the track ? It will be difficult .... its difficult now and we get deals. If my "complaining" bothers you then ignore my posts. I am posting my feelings on a subject

Thats the main reason most dont watch anymore. I could care less if the cup guys step down and pretty much change the channel when they participate. I wouldnt watch if my favorite cup driver started the race. ( most of which have retired at this point, another reason I've almost lost all interest in the sport) The topic was bonehead of the race. I still stick with television coverage as being the bonehead, its turned into a commercial fest. Money talks but people dont have to buy into their game as I havent. When was the last time the TV screen was nothing but racing? as in no side bars, upper bar's, or bottom of the screen without an ad on it? Most people think thats the norm, but I cant stand it. There are 43, no, 40, no scratch that, 36 advertisements on the hoods of the cars.................. never mind.I thought being a KDB fan, go to the Xfinity race, he wins those a lot.
