BREAKING: Carl Edwards to JGR

Actors and athletes have always hawked products. I think Stroker Ace is the movie that showed an aspect of sponsors in NASCAR.

I think it comes down to one thing - Larry, Darrel, and Darrel (Newhart TV series), they will do anything for $1.

The burgers go in your mouth and come out the other end. That's how they got their name. Haha just kidding :p

The best double cheesburger i have ever had is from the Salty Dawg Tavern here in Orange Ca. Infact, i just came back from having lunch there about an hour ago. Here is a link to their 2012 calender. You may have to shuffle through some of the waitresses pics before you get to the food pics, though. I think Greg will enjoy this link.:D It's not unusual to see drag racing drivers or crew guys, crew chiefs and team owners in there at any given time. You know you spend to much time at one place when you end up in their calendar... I'm sitting at the bar between two other guys in pic #14.:beerbang:

I've never even heard of em, they any good???
I see someone already answered your question.
Their burgers have a very unique taste. I'll add that the fries are awesome. Unlike most fast food chains, In-N-Out fries were real potatoes earlier in the day. They do not franchise out so the burger you get in Porter Ranch, CA is exactly like the burger you get in North Las Vegas.
You can get a single or a Double-Double (two patties, two slices of cheese), you can also order a 3X3 or a 4X4.
Also, there is a "secret" menu that is not printed on any official In-N-Out menu...> http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives...ate-every-single-item-on-the-secret-menu.html
Double-Double Animal Style is how I get mine. A lot of people like Animal Style fries, too.
Everyone should try In-N-Out once.

They used to be Cali only but have recently expanded out to Nevada and I think Arizona. If you don't ever get out to California, check them out next time you're in Vegas or Phoenix.
(Remember "Animal Style.")

Now they have invaded Texas, also.:)

Every in-N-out I've ever been to was good. The one I went to in Oakland had guards (armed with mace and billy clubs) most of the time but it was the only one I've seen like that.

Theres a burger joint in Breese, IL called "Wallys". Literal hole in the wall, it seats maybe 8 people around a counter inside. If you are ever on I64 inbetween Louisville and St. Louis and get a little hungry, I highly suggest getting off the interstate and giving it a look. Get a large Ski to wash it down. Just thinking about their burgers makes me smile.

Of course I have tits, I'm a mammal in a reptile suit. :p

I still think that Edwards ends up at Penske.

As excited as I am about the prospect of Carl in a TRD Toyota, there is a part of me that agrees with you. Problem is, if that was to be the case, The Captain would look like one hell of a liar. I know, I know, he is a businessman, but not like that IMO.

Edwards contract doesn't allow him to discuss where he's going - same as Kenseth's in 2012. What I got from Penske is that there's no interest because there's no sponsorship so if Edwards brings some along...who knows?

From Jayski:

UPDATE 2: Just 24 hours ago, reports surfaced that Carl Edwards will leave Roush Fenway Racing to drive an M&Ms-sponsored Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing beginning in 2015, with Kyle Busch driving a JGR Camry backed by Monster Energy Drink. Now, however, reliable sources say the M&Ms sponsorship will absolutely remain with Busch next season, and beyond. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a JGR insider said there is no truth to yesterday's rumor that M&Ms will back Edwards next season, rather than Busch. "Kyle is M&Ms guy," said the source, "and it is going to stay that way." Edwards' remains characteristically tight-lipped about his ongoing contract negotiations, and no one at either Joe Gibbs Racing or Roush Fenway Racing have commented on reports of his impending move. If he does jump to JGR, however, it appears that it will not be with the support of M&Ms (Godfather Motorsports

Sounds like somebody forgot to run the plan by Kyle . :(

LOL.

Interesting that the "JGR insider" only said that Kyle was going to keep his sponsor, not that Carl isn't coming to JGR. This is all very interesting but I think I'll wait for an official announcement before I react one way or another.

So Moody "breaks" the story then flops, and that's "breaking"? SMDH

Yeah man, thinking that Penske makes more sense....who knows? I think the other piece to this is that TRD really wants more bullets in the chamber. JGR's deal with TRD has always freed up resources to an extent for a fourth team. I some way shape or form, I am certain that TRD wants at least six cars.

The bullet is the component of the cartridge that goes downrange after the trigger is pulled. Only one cartridge at a time in the chamber. Perhaps more cartridges in the magazine.

Meant to help, not to chide. From a competitive shooter who drives a Toyota. Edwards wants to drive one I’m good with it.

The Redditors in this thread make me laugh. Seeing confused reactions from the others is makes my day better.

Taken as intended man. I went cliche with your passion without intending to do so. Well said. thanks.
