I wish I could find our photos from that race. I had several during the afternoon where the cars were all on pit road on jack stands under pop up tailgating canopies as there was nothing in the infield. No haulers, nada. They pushed the cars in via the gate off turn 2 exit.

Up in the air about this weekend. 10 hour drive from Southern New England, but worth every damn mile of the 2 way drive...Can Shack up in Wytheville, VA. for a few nights, but , That's a lot effort .. Worth it, but a lot of driving...

I have a coworker who said that was enjoyable mayhem.
Deegan took a hell of a hit into the wall from the lead. Messed up her jaw and shoulder. Those Crown Vics don't have much in the way of padding. Those jumping bean trucks of Robbie's are something else.

This should be good. Not that I'm a big fan of the dirt but I think the one race a year on the regular track makes it better

Headed to Bristol for the first time this weekend. Can’t wait
Little hack; the concession area at Gate 7, Gordon Terrace seating area E-F, has lockers for storage. They're located on the backside of the food stand. They're for workers, but hardly get used. I've brought padlocks to throw coolers and scanners in before going through the tunnel to the infield. Saves a trip back to the camper, and you can't bring coolers into the infield.
Enjoy...

When I went in 2019, I couldn’t figure out how to buy infield passes. How did you get those just buy off website?

from the 2019 race. I purposely sat up close because I wanted to feel the speed. I can’t remember if we sat start/finish or directly across from it on back stretch. I ended up sitting directly across from Chase’s pit. One of the coolest places you can go to as a race fan. It’s Bristol Baby…

Good question.

When I went, we were lucky enough to get hot passes because one of the guys in our group had a friend of a friend who wasn't going to use them (he worked for one of NASCAR's corporate sponsors, I think). I'll probably never get that lucky again

i went with dei ,i dont think you just buy one for during the race.

I have a few patients who are employed by teams, including a crew chief. He offered to get me "on the list" for a hot pass and to hang out in the pits with them. On one hand I'd love to, but on the other I really don't like their driver and would have a hard time secretly rooting for someone else while in their hospitality. Plus, it was left open ended like I had to ask and I'm way to uncomfortable and shy to do that.

Also briefly saw the father of a driver (won't say who or what series) and he was a real scammer. Tried to trade things like tickets and autographed merch for paying his bill. Nope. :beerbang::XXROFL:

You won't get any sympathy from me if you don't go. Filler up and get on the road. 🚗
