Bristol cup thread

Looked to me like Kasey backed off the throttle after scraping the wall and Smih couldn't check up in time.

#5 moved into a spot already occupied

Andy thinks the leader can switch lines whenever he wants and the other guy has to adjust. Kasey was holding 2 cars up and should have stayed out of the way instead of trying to jam himself in front of Regan.

We all know that Andy is "challenged" when it comes to NASCAR and objectivity so...yeah...

he was passing them not blocking them Smith should have backed off its lap fing 15

Kasey and his spotter were 100% at fault there. I know you are mad that your guy is having a bad year bet this was not Smith's fault in any way.

Its lap 15 you don't need to race that hard with 485 laps to go

Kasey hit him, then Smith gunned it and took Kasey out.

Come on. Really? Kasey caused the problem and got everyone checking up, and Regan got bumped. Did Kasey even watch practice and the NW race? How could he be surprised that the high line is killing the low line on exit? Get your head in the game, Kasey.

Call me old fashioned, but if you move up because you thought (maybe hoped is a better word) the other guy would back off, you have no one to blame but yourself when he doesn't Doesn't matter what lap it is. No one is obligated to give you anything.

It was the fault of the spotter and the 78 not the 5 realize that.

Are you saying that Regan Smith is responsible for Kasey's spotter, and Kaseys failure to know that the high line is fast on exit? Kasey said 'He called me clear and I thought I would be clear on exit'.

THAT'S the whole problem right there.
