While I'm not a fan of this race, at least it's got to be better than it was last year. Current forecast has a 50% chance of showers next weekend, not the monsoon of last year.

MTJ Getting that 1st Gimmick Truck race win on Bristol dirt for KBM. !!!
Great picture. Appreciate that!!!

I'm excited about this race, but yeah, I would be more excited if they would just run it on pavement. Give me a good old fashioned Bristol race the way God intended and if NASCAR still insists on running a dirt race once or twice a year, keep it exclusive to the Truck Series (and do it at an actual dirt track). Bristol is already one of the best tracks on the schedule; it doesn't need anything "extra" to spice it up.

I'm excited, I love dirt and don't think last year was as bad as all the cry babies make it out to have been. It was a learning experience. This will be great.
Yeah it should be good. Nascar made some changes under the car and I'm curious to see what the teams do with them.

Hopefully it rains all weekend.
This abomination of a gimmick needs to be washed away ,right into Back Creek and carried away.
Please, no. I’ve done plenty of birding along that creek and don’t want the habitat damaged. They trucked the dirt in, they can truck it right back out. Dump it on the drag strip and let's see how that fan base likes it.

Why the heck is this a Sunday night race and not Saturday?
Just venting because I will be on the road first thing Monday morning for a long day of driving and Sunday is Easter with family. Saturday would seem to have been a better choice in my opinion.

The NFL and NBA already had Thanksgiving and Christmas locked up.

To all the naysayers and purists............
It can't be no worse than last week's "legacy race"!!!!!!
Also, kiss it!!!!! LOL

one of the biggest gimmicks of them all . I miss the OG Food City 500. However there's a race on Easter Night and thats kinda cool. I have an excuse to leave my family's gathering early "My child isnt feeling well" rush home and watch the race!

I already informed them I'm not going. They're all used to my usual excuse as it's just one word.... "race".
Oh I have no problem going.....it's just that when its time to go, its time to go and my family....dosent get that ha ha. Thats awesome you have the "Race" to get out of things, short and sweet.

I know some people will hate it regardless, but I think a lot of people are just put off on it because of how bad the rain made it seem last year. Could be decent given a chance in better conditions, but maybe not.

I don't care, I'm all in, I posted it early so everybody that chooses to can get their best whines in lol. Some of them have been pretty comical. Building other tracks, take that dirt and shove it's, and the universal, need more cow bell (horsepower) lol.

Yea. I understand a lot don't like it just because it's Bristol. I love normal Bristol and have been there quite a few times and hate that it technically lost a race. But a dirt race could be cool, and I'm definitely willing to give it a chance without the rain.

And also, you forgot pushrods. :waver: 😜
