wrangler i hate to tell ya but jr had the car......2 laps and it woulda been goodbye DJ
now I have to disagree, Jr. never led a lap and struggled to get up there and when he was close to the top he got shufffled back, he had no help and if he did get up front he would'nt of stayed there long, he said himself that he had a strong car but did'nt know if was good enough to stay up front.Originally posted by FRENCHY@Feb 7 2004, 11:35 PM

Glad you are finally realizing it 97.Originally posted by 97forever@Feb 7 2004, 10:46 PM
Well, I was encouraged to see Jr pretty much run good all night. Maybe not the best indicator but still good to see. This could well be the year Jr. or Harvick get their first Daytona 500 win! Either of these guys deserve it.
It wouldn't surprise me.Originally posted by CypressTrout@Feb 7 2004, 10:47 PM
Looked like the 6 pushed jr to the front the last 2 laps. What's up with nascar, do they have something about jacking with Martin or what ?? I think they pull out different tools to measure his car or something sometimes.![]()

Congrats to DJ. Let's let the blue oval gang enjoy their win. After all, it's not a points race. When the real racing starts, the bow tie guys will be the first to the checkers.![]()
