Former NASCAR driver Candace Muzny, who started her own team in Mooresville, was found dead at a home in Oklahoma City Monday night, according to police and local media reports.

Muzny, 43, competed in two races in NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East series, once in 2011 and once in 2012, according to Racing-Reference.info. She also drove in NASCAR Late Model divisions and started her own team, called CNM Racing, in 2009.

The cause of Muzny’s death has not been determined but police said they found “no obvious signs at this time that a homicide occurred,” Oklahoma City TV station KOCO News 5 reported.

The back story on that is that she punched a nail technician in a nail salon because she wouldn't speak English and then she cut the officer responding with a knife and was in jail until recently released.
