Charlotte RACE thread --- The 600

I don't get why they didn't move it up when they don't have to worry about fans or other sports to compete with. The one benefit to things the way they are now is schedule flexibility and instead they did nothing. At least could've gotten the 35 minutes of ceremonies out of the way earlier

Come on Jimmie. With this package, it's going to take all race to make up that track position.

Also..no single pass inside the top 10 that run. Nice.

Didnt rain all damn day and rain not predicted until after scheduled green flag.

NASCAR: does nothing proactive

50 laps into the race: rains

That would suck for all the fans that came home at a pre planned time to watch the race just to find out it was over because they moved it up 3 or 4 hours. At least now they still get to watch the interviews until they start racing again and if it gets rained out then the fans have a chance to move their schedule around if they want to watch it the next day. Unforunately some fans may not be able to change their schedule due to work or other reasons... but this is not a perfect world and anyone expecting it to be is in for a lot of let downs in their life..

C'mon don't make sense, let them cry, they are usually cried out by the time the race re starts so we can watch in peace

Any fan dedicated enough to plan their entire day’s plans around the race will see the notification about the race moving up earlier can and will make adjusted plans to watch. The argument cannot both be “its for the fans traveling to the race” and “its for the fans watching at home”.

Once the broadcast time is set, it ain't changing. Maybe an Xfinity race on a cable network, but not for Cup race in prime time on a broadcast network. TV makes the rules. This has been pointed out countless times.
