Charlotte RACE thread

TBH, NASCAR should be concern with the safety of all track personal above everything else. They should also be concern with driver's safety, esp. when it comes to the five points safety belt, helmet and HANS device. If the rumor that Brad and Denny used their cars as weapons against one another in the garage area actually turns out to be true, then obviously the endangered everyone in the garage area, including themselves. This kind of bull**** may be tolerated at Bowman Gray Stadium, but it should NOT be tolerated by the premier stock car racing league.
 
This drama may be what France wanted, but it's stupid. On the heels of Ward's death, we get this nonsense with two of the biggest bone heads in NASCAR. Tony Stewart involved too.

Stand by for the media blitz.

I'm done when Gordon retires.

If the garage area rumor turns out to be true, then Brad and Denny need to be parked for the rest of the season. That's what they did with Kyle Busch when he wrecked Hornaday at 180mph under caution at the last truck race in Texas in 2010.

So fans complain about lack of drama and excitement then when they get that they still complain. I can't stand the leaders of NASCAR but they are in a no-win situation. :rolleyes:

I don't mind on track drama. Hel, I live for on track drama. However, it's when they take it off the track and they start endangering the lives of those who aren't wrapped around in carbon fiber bodies and steel roll cages is where I start to have a problem.

The kyle busch suspension was a gross overreaction. I would hate to see them do it again

Those two are the biggest hot heads in the sport. NASCAR got the publicity and ratings from this race, so they won't do ****. Hypocrites.
 
I can see penalties for the 2 and the 14 for what happened on pit road and if it is true that the 2 and 11 were going at it with their cars in the garage area then include the 11.
Brad should get the worst of it.

I always had the feeling that Kyle didn't have the sense to keep his mouth shut while he was in the Nascar trailer.

I'm sorry I laughed, and I know you don't see it, but Danica has punted her share of racecars. For her to get it back is going to happen sometimes, but she is way ahead of the game in that respect.

I still like Brad. He just acted a fool tonight, and if he does get punished for anything he did tonight, via a NASCAR penalty or retaliation on the track, he'll deserve it.

Like TRL said, he just lost his cool towards the end of and after that race.

Im not a fool...I get emotional when my driver gets taken out thats all. I know the score. Thats why we watch
 
I can't wait for Kez to go a few laps down and wreck the field at Talladega.
