But he is smarter than that. Having an awesome year. James is getting the credit he deserves. He doesn't need in team ****.I'd appreciate him a lot more if he turned his teammate.
Damn straight. I loved that when he lost the lead, he was like, "I don't think so!" Dominant. Complete and utter glorious domination.Briscoe is a badass.
...or driving for an elite team with a manufacturer that is all in. I am happy for him. He was dominant. Unbelievable.Chase Briscoe has been one of my biggest surprises this year. From being a non-factor for years, to now being a genuine Championship threat. It’s crazy how good a talented driver can perform when they’re not driving for a rotting corpse team.
Of course, he is a Hoosier just like Tony Stewart.Briscoe is a badass.
I think it was obvious that the wheels had been slowly coming off at SHR for quite some time before the end of last seasonIsn’t life funny? One day Chase Briscoe is living his dream, racing on his idol’s team and doing OK. Then the team closes shop, and Chase is wondering what could happen next? Turns out his new ride is far better than anything he had with Stewart!
I have always liked Chase. But hey, he is a happy Hoosier like Tony Stewart...and me.Posted this everywhere on the board.....Briscoe comes into the garage after a tough practice yesterday.....shakes the hands of every crew member thanking them....walks over to me--the only person in the garage watching the guys work, and thanks me for the support. Chase Briscoe is a great human being. I love the anti-hero, but this guy has me. So cool. The real deal--not some narrative. I get why James Small loves him....compared to what James had been putting up with....they are intense as hell in very different ways. They are going to win a **** ton of races together.
I suspect that if I had the opportunity to meet you in person, I would be treated just as Chase treated me.I have always liked Chase. But hey, he is a happy Hoosier like Tony Stewart...and me.![]()
You are absolutely right, and Magnethead can vouch for that...and I imagine you would be the same.I suspect that if I had the opportunity to meet you in person, I would be treated just as Chase treated me.
