3 in a row champ switches racing team from Curb to Boat
If he wants to win he still needs to come to NZ at christmas for Western Springs.
Strange, there must have been a falling out with Curb/Kuntz for both of his stars to bail. I guess it could be nothing, but both of them leaving sure looks like something has changed.
Everybody wants to beat Keith Kunz.
These boys are preparing for life after NASCAR.
Can't believe it's only a couple months away again.
Agreed. Could be many things. Bell started running for Boat last winter at the midget races before the Chili Bowl because Kunz chose not to run them. Bell and Larson could want more control over their program. With Larson it could involve inherent conflicts with TRD being heavily involved in the Kunz team. Who knows, but it's not business as usual.
True, but all Larson and Bell had to do for the most part was show up and they are in top drawer rides. Now they both have racing teams, employees, logistics etc. Hey I'm not complaining, competition is good, but my question is I wonder what sparked the change, both at the same time bailing is the interesting part. Good to see expansion in the midget ranks also. The Chili Bowl just got more interesting with those two in new cars
Flea Ruzic is an artist. Also a very weight-conscious racecar builder.
A buddy of mine and myself are planning on going to the Chili Bowl and then stop off in Oklahoma City the week after the Chili Bowl to compete in a 3 day big money slot car drag race. Fun...Fun...Fun.
Is it still going to be on MAVTV? Really enjoyed last year's telecast.
Saw this on a sprint car page, possibly some issues bringing in dirt
Truck number 13.
This was a different group. They were bringing in dirt for a motocross.
Scale models. This guy is pretty creative.
Just spent what he was gonna get paid and more. smh
Trying to Exit that door with the bed raised couldn't possibly work.
How does one forget to lower the bed. I hope he was drug tested.
I'm liking these two, I bet at least one of them will make the final
last year's clip. Pretty spectacular, the whole front stretch
How long has Cactus Jack Yeley been racing?
Donny Schatz Enters 2020 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals
Stewart and Abru are the guests. Tony will be on the tractor this year at the Chili Bowl
Ryan Newman wants to run the Chili Bowl, unclear on whether he means this year or not. He says his Gateway run was a tune-up, and that he'd never been in a midget with enough power to pull the front wheels off the ground. A lot has changed in 20 years.
Conor Daly, James Davison, and Santino Ferrucci (seriously?) will run the Chili Bowl in an effort organized by David Byrd. Sounds like Byrd and Scott Petry are fielding a midget year-around for different IndyCar-connected drivers, and Davison and Ferrucci have been placed with other existing teams.
Some interesting details in Robin Miller's article.
Entry list at 341 strong at the moment: https://www.chilibowl.com/entries/manual.aspx
He's there because he sees how narrow the track is and it's blocking paradise
Does anyone know if this will be streamed online anywhere?
Full 6-day package: $144.99 ($10 discount to On Demand and ALL ACCESS members)
Per Day: $29.99
That’s absurd. $145 to stream a 6 day event
On Championship Night MAVTV broadcasts starting with the C-Mains. 8:30-11:30 PM Eastern is still the TV window I think.
The intended window. Most years it seems they are reworking the track before the main, and the feature is running well after midnight ET. But it's the Chili Bowl, few are complaining.
When NASCAR drivers will qualify for Chili Bowl Nationals, event format
8 cars ... need springs.
Broken Arrow's (burb of Tulsa) Brady Bacon wins. We have a Larson wall banger imitator Daison Pursley
In car of the wall banger
