Coke 600

Damn, gotta feel bad for Jr. He'll, I was pull in for him.

But ya know, if he'd have won, the hater crowd woulda been calling foul for NASCAR not throwing the yellow flag on that restart.

What a finish. Just a thought, does anyone think that had it been anyone else up front that they wouldn't have thrown the caution? Good luck on Harv. Glad to see Ambrose come out with a top six finish.

Way to go Happy!!!! Sorry Junbug NASCAR was trying to help you out!!!

Harvick has a knack for coming out of nowheresville to win. Too bad for Junior, had a legitimate shot at a win, hate it for him but I think a win will come soon. HaHa Jimmie J and Chad K!!!

You are right about that, Black helicopters

I aint one of those black helicopter guys, I actually hate the crap, but you guys can't tell me if ANYONE else had been leading that would not have been a caution...I mean NASCAR thought JUNEBUG had that one in the bag...let that same thing have happened after he took the white flag and they woulda threw the caution quicker than you can blink...

I mean I don't wanna get wrapped up in the conspiracy mumbo jumbo, but when it hits you straight in the face..come on now!

I'm surprised they didn't throw a caution..... ok, not that surprised afterall, Junyur was in the lead.

speaking of black helicopters remember pocono a few years back when they threw a rain caution just as newmann was gonna pass Gordon for the lead and Gordon won the race?............Anyway nobody but JR would have run out of gas. Can't be mad at a 7 place finish 4th in points he'll be OK 7th is a better finish than he would have got by staying out.

I thought that as well, but thats how it should be. Way too many times, they're way to quick on throwing the caution. In fact, I've even seen people on this board (probably some even questioning this call) that have even been known to say, "they threw a coition for that?"

Darn, I didn't know NASCAR controlled rain too...they really are powerful.....

OK I would really have to hear what Nascar has to say about it.

But I do admit I was surprised they didn't throw a yellow.

amazing race, good to see guys like Ragan and Dinger in the top five. Feel bad for Junior.

Call me crazy, but throwing a caution when someone wrecks and it's not on the white flag seems like a good idea.....just sayin'.

But anyway, it is refreshing to see a race with an exciting finish...even if it was fuel mileage...

to be fair he wasnt on the track he was clear of the race track. And able to drive back around.

Well, it's still fishy that they didn't throw the caution. I mean in the past they did whenever they had a wreck right after the restart, but not this time....alittle strange, IMHO.

Ever since they started the "green, white checker" thing they have been quick to call cautions because of the so called "excitement" of "green, white checkered"...I mean my point is they have called cautions for a WHOLE LOT LESS than that to force another "green, white checker"

Ford guys ran strong. Great run for Ragan. I wanted Biff to win but after he pulled down pit road I was pulling for Jr.
The highlight of the race for me was seeing smoke billowing out of the 48 :growl:

Here's a conspiracy theory Nascar knew Jr would run out of gas setting up Harvick pulling another win out of his ass............and really pissing off haters everywhere... Dammed if they do dammed if they don't

I actualy said that right when it happend and I seen Junoir pull about 10 car lengths away from the next car. I thought they might even pull a blatent move and wait till right after he the white flag to throw a caution to say there was debree from the crash.

Oh, and by the way, Jr was the highest finishing of the Hendrick cars, even with him running out of gas. Just sayin' :growl:

So kevin now has

Daytona 500
Brickyard 400
Coke 600
All-star

Now all he needs is a championship

he hasn't won the Southern 500 at Darlington yet... I'm sure he'll get one soon enough, wish he could've done it last season but oh well...

The fact that you didn't know who was going to win until the very, very end. Best Coke 600 in quite some time.

Seriously? You have to be kidding, it was a fuel mileage race, there wasn't a close battle for the lead or anything towards the end. Outside of the last 30 laps this race was a snoozer, certainly not an "amazing" race by any standards.

I disagree. a 600 mile race doesn't have to have passing and over the top action every lap to be a good race. I normally don't like fuel mileage races beacsue they end up so spread apart, but this one was actually entertaining. After all, it's the end of the race that matters, isn't it?

My thoughts exactly.
