My bad, now that I think about it it was not from Laugh-In, it was from the "Smothers Brothers Show".

If you remember that show one of the regulars had this spiel about his name, saying ya can call me this or ya can me that and it always ended with "but ya doesn't have to call me Johnson".

And that is all I can remember about it , CMS strikes again!!:)
 
Oh yeah,
Johnny J Johnson, you can call me Jay, you can call me Ray, you can call me Johnny, buts you doesn't have to call me Johnson. Does that sound familiar?

How do you remember all that detail. I just have random bits and pieces floating around the grey cells.
