Did TRL delete those posts by that guy who claimed Chad was having an affair with Miss Sprint Cup? The guy was a new user and came in and made (potentially) libelous statements about Chad Knaus and then disappeared.

He was never married. He's been engaged twice but neither have come through. He's married to the 48 team...which is just fine with me :D
 
Congrats to JJ and his team on a great and well deserved win. I think towards the end it will come down between johnson and Harvick...but, if they can get Harvicks pit crew problems fixed then he will be the last man standing...after all, he is freaky fast.:D

The 48 showed some strength. Pretty much dominated, haven't seen anything close like that this year out of them. Hope they don't pull a Danica next week.

I had a funny post made but deleted it as I think that this thread does not need that.

Watching Jimmie is like watching the NFL teams of the 49ers and Dallas in the 90s. Its like even when they are beating you, you have appreciate the beauty with which they lay you low. I should know..I'm a New Orleans Saints fan...since the late 80s.

Not really sure why they'd rig races for JJ though. Junior and Gordon have more fans, so you'd think that's the way they'd go. NASCAR suffered their biggest drops in attendance and TV ratings during those years Johnson was winning 5 straight. In fact, the only year since '06 that TV ratings improved over prior year was 2011, a year that JJ struggled.

Some people get turned off if they think that their guy or gal can't win no matter what. JJ's dominance makes a win by our guy or gal even more sweet. Thats how I look at it. You want to beat the best when they are at their best.

Patrick even feels that way...when she passed jimmie on a restart in kansas that was the highlight for her. Don;t blame her. 6 time is the man to beat.

Brian France wants his NASCAR to move out of the earnhardt era & into the Johnson era. Only way to do that is to grant JJ 7 or more titles.

I guess that's a possibility. If so, changing the Chase format was a bad move. Jimmie had the old one mastered.
