I don't necessarily think Matt needs to win on a road course to be considered elite, especially considering that there are only two opportunities to win one every year. Dale Earnhardt had all of 1 road course win in his career, and that came after he already had 7 championships in the bag.

I don't know how Matt is doing it . He moves to a new manufacturer , new crew , new crew chief , whole new organization . He could have run mid pack for a year and been fine . But he puts the 20 car out front instead . I'm shocked.

The drivers say the cup cars are now more like the NW cars than ever before, and JGR has dominated NW for years.

I realized that other people feel about Matt Kenseth how I feel about Greg Biffle. Overrated upper-mid-pack twerp. I disagree about Kenseth but I understand how the Kenseth haters feel now.

Until this year I had not really paid that much attention to Matt or Denny, but this year they are both running very strong. If someone doesn't step up and stop Matt...this could be his year for a championship. And if Denny doesn't make the chase, then he won't have anything to lose and that will put him in a better position to help Matt if he needs to.
