I cook my turkey in one of those 18 quart electric roasters. Put it out in the garage --- frees up the oven for other things.

Bake 4 Sweets till soft, let cool a bit, cut open and put the insides into a BIG bowl and WHIP with butter, a good mixer till they look lighter in color. Add about 1 (more if you like) Tbl of dried onion, chives (lots for me), BUTTER(can't ever have too much), and a pint (or more if you like) of the best sour cream. Whip again until smooth and then put into a casseroll dish (no cover and I like my Corning French White shallow one so it browns well). Bake at about 375* till browning on top! It tastes better a day or so after you bake it!
Freezes well too for leftovers

Springer?? ya, late nite, but Barbara really is my best friend next to hubby.
