If I may contribute a 47, although it's a day late.

This is Jack Smith's Pontiac in Myrtle Beach, July 1961:

Is that Stafford or Thompson where the pis was taken?

That, if I'm not mistaken, is a young Ron Bouchard at the old Westboro Speedway. My father and great uncle were all over the New England racetracks in the '60s (and myself to a lesser degree, as I was pretty young), and Ronnie and Ken were regulars at Westboro. Evidently, the place is a mall now.

Also, Red and White movers above the door, I believe they're still in business, and possibly still in Fitchburg, or maybe Leominster. It's been quite a while since I've been down that way.

Yep I think you are right. My dad his cronnies used to let me tag along with them, back in the day. We used to frequent Thompson, Stafford, Riverside, Waterford, Seekonk...sometimes Plainfield. Don't remember ever going to Westboro, but I might of. I saw plenty of the Bouchard boys and the Bodines at Stafford and Thompson, Geoff ruled Stafford for a few years before he moved on to Cup. My avatar is of Gene Bergin when he drove the M-6 for Bebe Zalinski, my dad and Bebe went to school together and were good friends.
