Cup Championship RACE thread --- Phoenix

This is a complete face of a racing series. The last several years, only three top 4 in the championship finish in the top 4? NASCAR is as fake as the NFL, the NBA, and the MLB. I’m completely done with nascar. By

It's reality tv but the competition is real.

I'm not saying they did. But it seems more than odd that the final 4 finish 1-4 and the 48 in 5th. I'm not saying the finish was predetermined but what's the odds of that top 5?

This is an awesome day as a HMS fan to see the number 9 team dominate like they did today and seal the deal for another championship for Rick Hendrick, Chevrolet, and the whole Hendrick organization. That was also so cool to see the 48 and 88 and all of the other drivers from other teams driving up beside his car and congratulating Chase. He will be a great champion. If some on here want to put an artistic beside the # 9 teams Championship because they think NASCAR gave them an unfair advantage then so be it...but I am not one of them I think they deserve to be the 2020 NASCAR Cup Champions.:beerbang:
 
Ive enjoyed the Elliott's celebrating more than I did the race , how cool , I hope Chase enjoys every moment of this, he earned it.

Yeah, that's stupid. None of them would do that. The final four are given higher tolerances to work within, just as Allenbaba stated. That's how they ensure that.

I'll just choose to believe that Jimmie was hungry to finish on a high note, they gave him a great piece, and nobody but the top four had the motivation he did today.
 
Good of Brad to not completely throw his crew under the bus.

Brad's probably my #2. Gutted for them.

Got that car right and gained almost 3 seconds on the track on Chase during stage 3, and just lost too much time on pit road. Really wanted to see another 2x champ in the cup series.

But I stand by my 8 win/Championship prediction for Chase next year.

Congrats Chase fans!

I'm 2/2 in cup Champion predictions the last two years, so, you got a good a chance again next year ;)

another thing, you add in Harvick and Truex and you have the top 4 or 6 positions in almost all of the races.
