Cup race at Atlanta

and that's why i love dirt track racing!

don't care for either one of them, but that was some great racing.

Why the heck do I have to be at work?!? LOL Does anyone know if there will be a replay of the race?

I've said it all along, JJ is THE BEST wheelman in NASCAR, and he's smart enough to do it only when it really counts.

I wish they had showed Stewart's amazing run to 3rd in a second panel.

Brad fell 2 more points back of 10th, but he locked in the first WC. So it's down to Denny and a few longshots.

That was some good, hard and clean racing by two of the best!

If only Stewart could've got up there into the mix.

If there was a yellow, Tony would have driven away. I would like to see the lap times, but he flew through the field.

That Sprint showdown was bull****. Why wasn't the money awarded to the best finisher of the 4 showdown drivers? They kept their money, but made sure they drove that big arse truck out onto the track anyway.

I had to go to class around the time Lally smacked the wall, wtf happened to Kasey?

Last laps were excellant but would have been nice to see Tony moving up.

Damn! Just watched the video of the finish on nascar.com (chopped doesn to a bout 30 seconds), and JJ was sideways almost the whole last lap!

I see that some people in previous posts are wondering when the next airing of the race will be. Well, let's take two things into consideration:

1. Last month's Watkins Glen Monday Cup race was shown the same night of the race on ESPN2, much to my surprise.

2. The 2011 US Open Tennis tournament has been rained out today - and was scheduled to air tonight on ESPN2.
ESPN2 now needs to fill that allotted time slot with something.

So, I'd say there's a slight chance of seeing a re-broadcast of the race on ESPN's sister channel tonight. Just speculating, but I just thought I'd throw that out there for those who didn't DVR the race and do not want to wait for the SPEED telecast.

He came from like 8th to 3rd, what more could a guy ask for. His pit crew was way off the mark today. I hope they pull it together for Richmond.

For the forum game this week for Richmond since it's so late I think we should just keep our picks from Atlanta. That would leave me with...........oh look at that Denny Hamlin:p

I would be OK with that. :beerbang:

I hope Spike makes this happen pretty quick because I am leaving in the morning for a few days.

Well I missed the race, watching the hub right now....Jimmy Spencer had the best line I have heard in a while "if I had a nickel for everytime Jeff Gordon has lapped me, I would have more money than he does!" LOL

It's the same exact thing Kyle done in the Truck race in my eyes.

Montoya didn't a damn thing wrong there he just held his line like he should and Bowyer just ran across his nose.

I agree. I just got done watching and re-watching that incident. Bowyer wasn't clear..... simple as that. Sucks for Bowyer but it just looked like a racing deal.

Imagine my disappointment. I had the eventual Pole Sitter, Shakey Khane...

Oh, well!
