Cup race at Kansas

I havn't had a chance to watch a cup race for the the past few weeks, but I am in Houston Tx planning on watching it today. I did get a chance to stop by Jr Motorsports and Penskes shops while I was in Charlotte. I didn't realize that they go back to their shops and reload between races as often as they do. They were loading and getting ready to leave for their Dallas race when I was there, and they said that they were coming back to their shop after the Dallas race to reload for the Kansas race. The driver that hauls Danica Patricks car invited me in to their shop and gave me a nice tour, and then we went up in to the lounge of her hauler and we sit down and shot the bull for a while. He also told me that they come back to the shop and reload after almost every race except a few on the west coast. He said they run team drivers on the haulers and they put about 80,000 miles a year on them. They get new trucks every two years. Heck I have only been back to our shop one time since the season started in eary Febuary. oops sorry I strayed a little off topic.

A bit of insight into how things work never hurts. Thanks.

Damn you're memory is good!!!  I don't know what the issue is for Penske on that. I don't know if it's getting the fuel in to the car, the pick up, to the intake or a variety pack. It sucks though, it's cost Brad big.

I know that if that expect Keselowski to compete for the cup, they best get it figured out and soon.

I need to have Jimmie Johnson mow my lawn, because everytime I do, there's grass all over mine. Guess I must be doing it wrong....

Breaking news: Apparently HMS is going for their 200th win today - who knew?

Looks like Truex has a very fast car in the early going.

They could save a lot of money by not repaving this joint and just put in a railroad track. Looks like a big freight train out there

Tire strategy, lap times falling off, cars getting loose. This has the ingredients for a good race. NASCAR should leave the track alone for at least five years.

All that extra equipment must be slowing down Boywer. Glad he's the MWR car I don't have in fantasy.

is Kahne gonna have a good race...bet he gets the 200th win at some point.

This race has something for everybody... even something for dpk and robbybee. A mix of side-by-side racing (that Michael and Darrell say is non-existent:rolleyes:), strategy and a handling race.

NASCAR should save money and leave this track alone. It's starting to come in now. Progressive banking will ruin this race.
