You must be a rarity. I have friends that swear by DirectTV, but still talk about it going out in a big storm out here on the east coast. I can't remember the last time Cox cable went out.

I have direct tv and the rain,ice and wind are not a problem but snow can be...but if you spay it with pam the snow will slide off but we are lucky to get a inch or 2 not feet of snow like the east and north. although we did have a small tornado come through town about 4 years ago and it did go out for 20 min. or so.
