Cup RACE thread --- 600

I dont think we will see much transition improvement like we would on a regular 6pm start, this one should conclude around 7:30 and I dont see the track changing a lot other then laying down more rubber
 
Was just about to say Jimmie looks great. Got around the 22. Drove up to p23. But spun. Damn

I’d argue it IS the driver. His teammates are running circles around him. He’s 3rd or 4th dog at HMS right now and it’s all his own fault.

I'd say 3rd or 4th for sure. Nowhere near where they should be
 
I think Larson is the best driver, by far, but this year is quickly looking like a 10 win season for William Byron.

By fault i, yes, was referencing his 6 week vacation. Then on top of that listen to his radio. You as a spotter would have far more insight than I, but he sounds like “struggling to get that breakthrough win” Chase from start of his career. Zero confidence, doesn’t know what to ask for as far as changes, and is back to blaming himself for everything. I am sincerely trying to answer you with evidence, not emotion
 
I’ve been told on this sub and Reddit that Larson and Byron were miles ahead of Chase for years, and I’m finally ready to concede that @Spotter22 . I got to enjoy a title which was fun. I’m happy.

I'm not listening to his radio, is he telling them he has no clue what to do or Is he giving them feedback like loose in/ tight off , car is out of the track, tight center, chatter?

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard a version of that since he’s been back… 🤷‍♂️. This is all usually while a teammate is whipping the field Old Testament style. He’ll occasionally ask what data shows for teammates, and Alan usually has to say something to the crowd defect if “they’re killing is on entry. Less brake” etc
